This collaborative composition was written in Musescore instead of Finale Notepad (Notepad was used for all of our prior collaborations) 

Interestingly, the choice of composition software can really impact how a piece turns out. In this case, it's much easier to switch meter partway through a composition in Musescore than in Finale Notepad, where it's more or less impossible unless if you ignore the barlines - we took full advantage of easy and intuitive time signature switching in Musescore here!

For this piece, we alternated off writing 20 measures at a time, emailing the piece back and forth until it was finished. As usual, we did not discuss orverbally plan out the piece in any way, instead just building off each other's contributions.
