really thrilling composition...So interesting....and satisfying!!

Opening movement of a piano sonata written over the course of a few months in 2021. 

I was unvaccinated when I started this first movement - by the time I finished the sonata a few months later I was very thankful to be vaccinated. I actually finished the final movement while traveling domestically to see family for the first time since 2019.

Hope 2021 is going okay for you all despite the intense times recently, and hope you enjoy this sonata! Movement 1 is in sonata form with a dorian mode scale as its home base.
