This song is another true story inspired by a conversation I had with my astrologer friend @DJShAnkAri. We were talking about my garage sale blues, (Pluto Blocked My Path - 
https://on.soundcloud.com/tywNJmqaPIonULWAFy) and she shared some insights about my chart, mentioning Pluto blocking my path and Uranus striking my Sun. I wrote both songs after that conversation. But what really sparked this song was when she started talking about how humans act like machines without even realizing it. She shared a funny story about her broken refrigerator handle and how she and her son Aurélien would constantly forget it's broken and try to open it the old way.

The song is about being stuck in routines and habits, and how we often act on autopilot without even thinking. It's a relatable story about how we can get caught up in these patterns and struggle to break free. I wrote this song to highlight the humor and frustration in these moments, and to poke fun at ourselves for being so predictable. The song's catchy melody and lyrics are meant to make you laugh and nod your head in recognition, because let's be honest, we've all been there - reaching for that fridge handle and getting a big surprise! 😉 😅🤣😂

This song tells the story of an aging former Walk of Fame movie star who once basked in the Hollywood limelight and was everyone’s sweetheart on the silver screen. With the passage of time, fewer screen roles come her way, and she begins to depend on red wine to cope with her depression and grief. Eventually, she decides to end it all. Indeed, glory, fame and fortune are a young girl's game in Hollywood, which is riddled with stereotypes of beauty and youth. This emotional and moving song is a dedication to those who have taken their lives over the years in Hollywood and elsewhere due to societal pressures to retain their youth, beauty and fame.

Dr. Wally Bartfay is a retired Professor and former Associate Dean (August, 2024) for the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.  He was also affectionately known as the “Rock N’ Prof” by his students because he often played original songs that he has written prior to the commence of lectures to create certain vibes and buzzes in his classes. His music has appeared on Euro Indie Music Chart lists top 1; World Indie Music Chart lists top 1 and 2; BWNR music list top 5, and the US Top 20 Show- Weekly Pulse of Music at No. 18. In 2024, he had 3 No. 1 Indie hits on the Euro Indie Network Music Charts and World Indie Top 100 Music Chart lists with collaborator Stephen Wrench: 1. You're My Beautiful; 2. Ever since Wally was a little lad, he wanted to play the electric guitar and make music that creates smiles on people’s faces. He can remember playing his imaginary electric "air guitar" in his parents’ basement to various rock and country songs for hours on end. He got his first guitar when he turned 14 after taking on various odds jobs including pumping gas on weekends and cutting lawns.  He quickly learned to play it on his very own, along with several other instruments. Wally has also done research related to the benefits of music therapy as a nonpharmacological intervention with patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.  He got interested in researching the clinical benefits of music as medicine after his father was diagnosed with vascular dementia following a series of strokes that left him bed bound in a nursing home.  Ironically, this is the same nursing home that he used to put on volunteer Christmas concerts for during his youth in his community. He is passionate about song writing and his songs often reflect personal experiences and challenges that he has faced over the years. Each song contains components of his genuine lived experiences, heart, and soul as an artist.
