Stylish backing, of course, and a vocal that comes out with care and deliberation. We all write lyrics from the heart of imagination but I'm wondering if this was ever real. Not that it matters. Very nicely put together.

“Wrote This Song To Say Goodbye Girl” by Wally Bartfay and Stephen Wrench tells the story of a breakup message written in the form of a recorded song. He knew this girl since they were high school sweethearts, moved in together, and had lots of good times together over the years. However, he discovers via text messages on his girlfriend’s phone that she has been fooling around behind his back and has betrayed their relationship, trust and hi-jacked their love. After careful thought and some serious drinking, he decides to pack-up his truck and leave her the next day. He writes and records a break-up song to let her know how he feels about her betrayal in this relationship.  This song produced by Musik and Film, mixed by Wayne Killus and mastered by Robyn Robbins of Bob Seager's Silver Bullet Band.  
 On July 14, 2025, this song hit No. 4 on the Euro Indie Network Music chart list and was No. 12 on the World Indie Music Chart Top 100 List.

MUSIC BIO FOR DR. WALLY J. BARTFAY
Dr. Wally Bartfay is a retired Professor and former Associate Dean (August, 2024) for the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.  He was also affectionately known as the “Rock N’ Prof” by his students because he often played original songs that he has written prior to the commence of lectures to create certain vibes and buzzes in his classes. His music has appeared on Euro Indie Music Chart lists top 1; World Indie Music Chart lists top 1 and 2; BWNR music list top 5, and the US Top 20 Show- Weekly Pulse of Music at No. 18. In 2024, he had 3 No. 1 Indie hits on the Euro Indie Network Music Charts and World Indie Top 100 Music Chart lists with collaborator Stephen Wrench: 1. You're My Beautiful; 2. Little Sunshine Girl and 3. Cherry Hill Gal.  Stephen has been a 6x Grammy Awardee and has won over 50 Gold and Platinum records throughout his career journey that spans 5 decades now. 
I have been invited to appear on several radio stations, music podcasts, YouTube music channels and interviews with music magazines during the past year. Ever since Wally was a little lad, he wanted to play the electric guitar and make music that creates smiles on people’s faces. He can remember playing his imaginary electric "air guitar" in his parents’ basement to various rock and country songs for hours on end. He got his first guitar when he turned 14 after taking on various odds jobs including pumping gas on weekends and cutting lawns.  He quickly learned to play it on his very own, along with several other instruments. Wally has also done research related to the benefits of music therapy as a nonpharmacological intervention with patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.  He got interested in researching the clinical benefits of music as medicine after his father was diagnosed with vascular dementia following a series of strokes that left him bed bound in a nursing home.  Ironically, this is the same nursing home that he used to put on volunteer Christmas concerts for during his youth in his community. He is passionate about song writing and his songs often reflect personal experiences and challenges that he has faced over the years. Each song contains components of his genuine lived experiences, heart, and soul as an artist.
