For our latest guest mix we have Downtown Disco co-founder Karen Ridley aka Miss Chief! Karen is an early 90s dancer who has always had an ear for tunes. She was a regular party goer in the progressive house scene and built up a vast collection of vinyl filled with tracks she ID’d from each night. 

2 years ago Karen rediscovered her love of music through the genre of Nu-Disco. The funky, fresh & exciting tracks she discovered from the likes of Late Nite Tuff Guy and Babert reignited her passion. It was then that she met Ian Ossia, who helped found Downtown Disco and taught Karen to mix

Karen & Ian then went on to create their brand from the ground up and threw one hell of a party at Mint with a stellar line-up of Late Nite Tuff Guy, Dr Packer & Babert.
