His first album "Black River, Far East" will be released in 2025. The album focuses on cinematic images of his upbringing in East Tokyo, where the red lights of the city flicker in the riverbed. The album was entirely produced and performed by himself, along with Tokyo-based musician friends from Kikagaku Moyo, DYGL, Tricot and Yuma Koda.

Back in the day, around '81/'82, Sister Nancy (Ophlin Russell-Myers) recorded a tune on the Stalag riddim - the seminal Bam Bam. Since then I've played it to death be it in clubs and pubs, at home, or in the car on a sunny Irish country road with the top down. 
Around 15 years ago a big beat remix turned up and went straight into my DJ bag often to be played with, instead of, or cut over the original. And that's all I've done here, put a big fuck off beat over Soom T's cut. Same riddim, fresh vocal, new generation. The circles and cycles of reggae and dancehall move ever far-ward. 

Ophlin Russell-Myers, meanwhile .. she's now an accountant in a bank .... pfft.
