so it became a sweet ghoul in Hamburg,
walked in Saint Jean as a ghost,
was reincarnated in black cat in NRW,
changed in firebird in Le Mans and Athens in the same time
breathed old ashes in Valparaiso,
rose in the lost air in Toulouse,
as a phoenix in Québec started to Pb82 2 Au79
reborned in Athens as a new world
and released in a virtual and digital niche in Grenoble

Espacio y tiempo/Me deslizo por agujeros de gusano y llego a mi destino con mucha vehemencia/Paisajes nunca imaginados por mi cerebro se hacen presentes/Animales y aves de gran envergadura se asoman frente a mis ojos/Voces que viajan por el aire con mucha resonancia llenando espacios por doquier/Mucha vida silvestre y abundancia de colores para contemplar/Una gran tribu nativa me dà la bienvenida y me alimenta el corazón con toda clase de ritos/Y un nuevo sendero aparece plasmado de imágenes surrealistas/Transcurre un buen lapso de tiempo y luego despierto y pienso…..fue un sueño?

The idea of collaboration has negative connotations as does compromise … but something truly beautiful can be born from working together, sharing a vision and journeying on the road of creation with one or two close friends. This is evidenced here, on this the fifth volume of collaborations from Cousin Silas and his friends.

Over 5 CDs worth of music … 800+ mb of data if you choose 320kbps MP3 files … Cousin Silas and Friends vol 5 (waag_rel088) is a hefty celebration of truly independent ambient electronic music. It is also a celebration of Dave Hughes, the man behind Cousin Silas, and the friendships he cherishes.

Hallo, I'm Walter Fini, curator of the release. This project, created to quietly but then grew slowly but big, collects remixes ofmy own and "chill" song, "Running with clouds on the beach" (2015) inspired by the Dunas and the Ocean in Gran Canaria, Spain. I asked some friends / artists if they would re-interpret in their own way, the thought of a ride on an imaginary beach chasing the clouds. The results are nearly twenty tracks, very interesting and different. You can find here the sonic metamorphosis, (this word well describes the concept behind this project) and the different sensation that we can have in their imaginary beach. Enjoy ! A big thanks to all artist involved.
