Midsummer Glow 한여름의 빛

The light of midsummer—
when it settles upon a quiet heart,
forgotten emotions
begin to softly awaken.

Your gaze,
the ripple of light that day,
the hours that flowed in silence—
all remain within this glow.

This is not the end.
It is the beginning
of summer’s song, once more.

The waves of feeling
gently brush the soul,
and a sudden urge to drift away
calls forth the memory of you.

Between light and shadow,
a tender afterglow
revives the summer
that once
lived in my heart.

그 빛이 고요한 마음에 내려앉을 때
잊고 지낸 감정들이
은은히 깨어난다.

그대의 눈빛,
그날의 빛의 파동,
말없이 흐르던 시간들—
모두 이 빛 속에 머문다.

이것은 끝이 아닌,
다시 시작되는
여름의 노래.

감정의 파도는
잔잔히 마음을 스치고,
어디론가 떠나고 싶은 충동은
문득, 그대를 떠올리게 한다.

빛과 그림자 사이
따뜻한 여운은
기억 속 여름을

Midsummer Glow 한여름의 빛

in a world of confusion I held on to the things that made sense to me, the trees swaying in the wind, the crickets and bugs making noise, retro video game songs that filled me with life. these are the things that made me who I am.

my whole life I wanted to be seen, I wanted to feel emotions. but the world always found a way to take it from me. this is me attempting to give a space that doesn't take anything, a space that gives you compassion and empathy. 

I want to make sounds that inspire others to feel too.

A one take improvisation and meditation.  This was recorded with a Roland GR-55 and Godin Multiac Slim Nylon with some extra effects from Line6 HXFX.
