A man is tasked with recording every life the world has forgotten.
He writes in silence, cataloguing names that no longer belong to anyone. Each page becomes a gravestone; each word, a confession. The further he writes, the less of himself remains.

The One Who Catalogued the Dead is a requiem for memory and faith, a story about devotion in the face of decay, and the cost of carrying the voices of the lost.

These tracks echo that descent: from quiet noir reflection (God Doesn’t Answer Here), to the fragile pulse of remembrance (While He Was Sleeping), to the storm of resistance (Safe in Silence), and finally to the cosmic bridge that binds all worlds (Nexus).

Haunting, introspective, and achingly human, this is the sound of someone writing until their own name disappears.

This EP has been collecting dust on my hard drive probably since January 2019, I was very much determined to try and find a label for it. Doing self-releases for over 6 years got somehow boring and felt like a plateau. 

Though after over six months, it suddenly did not feel boring anymore (as did trying to write comprehensive e-mail to sell the release to label). So since I did not find any power within to contact any label, I did find some time to finally put it out on another self-release. 

EP is highly inspired by music I was listening to during numerous business trips between Stockholm and Tallinn during this spring, hence the name and the cover. Then I was really into organic sounds woven into electronic beats (Think Bonobo, Four Tet, Maribou State). 

Here you will hear numerous acoustic and traditional elements layered over the modern synths and club-styled drumbeats. It is different from the previous release, I am pretty sure, the next one will be different form that one.
