A Dub Techno Journey is a compilation that traverses Dantes circles of Hell, transforming them into hypnotic and profound soundscapes. Each track represents a canto from Dantes Inferno, interpreted by producers from different parts of the world, united by a shared sensitivity for dub techno vibrations. The idea was conceived by Francesco Tamburrano, who envisioned a musical journey blending literature and sonic exploration, and took shape through the collaboration with the label Superordinate, always attentive to visionary projects with an international scope. The result is a dark and immersive path, where enveloping basslines and deep echoes guide the listener on a sonic pilgrimage through Dantes Inferno.

Based on Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, 4th movement, Ode to Joy  
On December 16th we celebrate Ludwig van Beethoven's 250th Birthday.

The composition is written in a contemporary style using the technique of hoquet.

The term Hoquet is a French word (in Old French also hocquet, hoket, or ocquet) meaning "a shock, sudden interruption, hitch, or hiccup".  Although the term is in reference to the secular music of the 13th and 14th centuries in France, the technique, under other names, could be heard in different types of music across the world as early as the 11th century.  Hoquet is the rhythmic linear technique using the alternation of notes, pitches, or chords.  In medieval practice of hocket, a single melody is shared between two (or occasionally more) voices or instruments such that alternately one voice sounds while the other rests.  Hoquet is also used in Indonesian Gamelan music, African music, Classical music, Jazz and popular music.
