Can you teach a small high school chamber orchestra to play one of the most complex, atonal, nuanced symphonic works of the 20th century? The answer is yes - perhaps not with the polish of Bruno Walther or Leonard Bernstein or Zubin Mehta, but with real grit and heart. I'm proud of these kids.
