The Helsinki-based multidisciplinary artist Exmantera (Daniil Mantere, they/them) https://soundcloud.com/exmantera is one of the prominent names in the Finnish underground digital electronic scene, and they’re known for their abrasive, knife-sharp outings where crispy sound design meets clangy dramatic tension. After hosting a remix on last year’s “Ross 308 EP” by the also Finnish artist Comastasis https://paynomindtous.bandcamp.com/track/ross-308-exmantera-remix, we’re thrilled to share with you their latest work “LETHALITY” EP.

“LETHALITY” is composed of seven tracks and comes with an eerie, obscure artwork by Exmantera and uzâ a’amo instagram.com/uzaaamo/ as well as two collaborative tracks with Nova Caine @n0vad0sed and Yaokai @yaokai. As evoked by its title, the record is unforgiving in its sonic violence, aggressive distortion, and clangorous instinctiveness. Episodes inspired by the finest instrumental grime are followed by ear-splitting bursts, metallic percussions, glitching artifacts, and sinister melodies. These raw ingredients are molded into eventful tracks that immediately capture the listener despite the unrestrained rhythmic violence, guiding them down a treacherous path of digital corrosivity. In other words, Exmantera encapsulates spectacular ferocity and immaculate bloodlust in each of the compositions, molding the elements in the ultimate sound transposition of the impulse to maw, gnaw, and kill. Info: Capiuz returns on the label with a new club-ready album that slashes through a nocturnal forest landscape with fluorescents and violent bursts of color. Taking its name from a series of paintings called “Bande di Fiori Notturni” by Italian artist Alice Visentin, the project goes through a wide array of influences and bpms. Terra Nuda (naked earth) acts as an opener fusing a foggy drone with drum breaks and dance hall syncopations. Hectic follows up with a more bass oriented attitude incarnated in a heavy pounding kick pattern and driven by metallic drums with a restless spirit. The sounds and textures of Fiori Notturni are heavily inspired by the works of John Cage and his use of percussive instruments for both rhythmic and textural purposes. These influences become pretty clear in slower cuts like Black Needle and the title track, where jingles, rattles and other high-pitched instruments create a moving bed for the rhythmic section. Other works such as 0400 and the collaboration with label head B E N N, Lunar Eclipse, bring a faster pace to the project with a higher focus on rhythmic layering. Before giving its way to the Ancestral Vision remix, the “night” is closed off by Hallucinogen, a longer track driven by a steady kick that plays with different odd timed patterns to create an exciting and enveloping trip.

Capiuz is the experimental dance project of producer and performer Luca Favaro. Based in Italy, his genre-merging production focuses on exploring rhythm and sound design in a club context. Often leaning towards live performances, Capiuz’s music takes the form of a heavy hitting outburst filled with heavy bass, breakcore progressions and granular textures. He is currently the host of a show on Radio Raheem and has published with Unizone, Over My Body and Early Reflex. As a programmer he’s developing max for live devices with HIDE Productions, including granular audio effects and instruments and flexible percussive synths.

Jan Macháček aka Ancestral Vision is a Prague-based producer, sound artist, DJ and co-founder of Unizone label and radio show. His productions are full of experimental sound design that fills the gaps between earworm-ish melodies and contemporary club echoes. Compositions written by Ancestral Vision are often both epic and intimate, serving as a personal diary of his sound research practice and studio jams.

TTAN - 2000 (feat. Darja)

Tufi & Oliver Torr join forces for Tied With Wire, their debut on WARE.

Tied with Wire is a slowly cooked collaborative project. In this EP, Tufi revisits sketches from 2019, reshaping and morphing them with Oliver Torr into adventurous club music, full of twists and turns. Drawing from Tufi's multi-genre influences, the seeds of his Argentinian cultural background, and Oliver's precise sound design, evolving textures, and harsh atmosphere, the result is a cohesive four-track EP, where the weird and the familiar become one piece tied with wire.

Partly completed during a week-long studio session in Athens with an organic approach, the project reflects an ongoing learning process—a fertile ground for experimentation without any time pressure. In an age where reality is accelerated, prevailed by anxiety, individualism, competition, and the relentless race against time, this EP aims to decelerate time. A break and a reminder of the urge of collective spirit.
Adding to this collective sense, the duo invited long-time friend Bungalovv to conclude the project with the artwork.

Ecuadorian producer Daniel Gachet “Entrañas” presents his debut full album Caverna on Infinite Machine. The project explores an amalgam of polyrhythms found in traditional Ecuadorian music such as bomba and albazo, blending them with jagged atmospheres of uk bass and grime. Through deliberate sound design, Entrañas seeks to place the listener within the unpredictable ecosystem of the city of Quito and its surroundings.

In this record Entrañas searches for a sound that conveys both the infrastructural chaos he experiences currently in his home city, while also reflecting the hauntingly beautiful and seemingly perpetual terrain just outside of Quito. Not far from the frequent and unpredictable power outages and city wide lockdowns which are now commonplace due to the ongoing narco wars, there is an Andean stratovolcano visible from many parts of Quito, including Entrañas own bedroom window. Ruco Pichincha stands nearly 5000m in height, attracting awe and curiosity of many who happen upon it, perhaps by way of its beauty as well as its innate potential for mass destruction. A particular location of interest for the artist, the mountain emits a kind of objectivity that is distinct from the urbanscape of human activity; it asserts itself, unobservant of the adjacent violence, trials and tribulations. Its very name–“Ruco” translated in English to "old" from the indigenous Quechua language–seems to reflect both its acquired reverence from native inhabitants of the region, as well as the relative incomprehensibility of such natural monuments.

On Caverna, references to Quito and its encompassing geography are apparent in ways that are direct at times, nuanced at others. “Toque de Queda” (trans. “lockdown”) was produced in real time during a city wide lockdown in which Entrañas and his collaborator Ene Ese were unable to leave an apartment for hours on end. The sheer apprehension of such a situation can perhaps be gleaned from the seething claps and non-melodic droning atmospheres that build, producing a tone of frustration and unease. Tracks like “Coscacho”, “Muerto A Puntapiés” and “Cruces” seem to take on a similarly minimal approach, focused on brooding heavy bass lines and relentless polyrhythms that become increasingly menacing as the tracks build. A listener might imagine these compositions to conjure the rumbling subterranean activity of Ruco Pichincha. As their names might imply, “Caverna” and “Cascada” take a different approach, building up shimmering soundscapes reminiscent of 90s new age. These ephemeral sequences seem to summon meditation on natural landscapes in a way that feels lighter and more optimistic, unveiling a softer vision.

In light of his prolific catalog, Entraña’s twelve-track work reaches into territory that feels both more personal and experimental–though these compositions are undoubtedly dance-floor ready. Caverna brings together anthems of leftfield club music with chambers of ambient reflection–both of which read as significant and distinct to the artist’s background and day-to-day experience in Quito. As the majestic and humbling mountainous surface of Ruco Pichincha might resemble, Caverna’s title track ends the record with a reminder; a gentle nod to the significance of such sacred wonders as places of refuge in our human experience; whether we can grasp them, or see them from our bedroom window.

Entrañas - Cruces

The Bogotá based imprint drops its third release and launches the Split Trax
series, a concept built around the essence of collaboration. The debut of Split Trax
brings together four unique artists, each expanding the horizons of the hybrid club
sound, giving deconstructed-tribal-rhythmically immersive vibes.
DLBCN was brought by Ukrainian The Lazy Jesus to the table, setting the stage with
a track that feels like a punch to the face—a raw blend of heavy bass, tribal
rhythms, and stripped-down beats. This primal energy serves as the perfect
playground for the remixes to follow, making each layer hit harder than the last.
Kicking things off, Ene Ese (Ecuador) drops a remix that fuses deep, bass-driven
lines with intricate percussive layers, building from an intense, headbanging
pulse into a restless, hypnotic rhythm that hooks you hard.
Next up, DJ Latinchat (Peruvian/Berlin-based) takes the track into darker Latin
club territory, blending Afro-Latino punch with a mesmeric, bass-heavy flow. It's
a rhythmic trip that layers Latin American beats into a psychedelic, almost
trance-like tapestry.
Lastly, Tufi (Argentinian/Berlin-based) dials in a dark, ambient-heavy remix,
layering deep, textured bass with shadowy atmospherics. The track brings an
immersive, weighty cadence marked by raw, moody intensity and sound design
that’s as mysterious as it is captivating.
Split Trax sets the tone for a series that will continue evolving, showcasing one
track reimagined through multiple visions and styles.
