The story started out with the band 'Against the Pressure' whom, after the break up of the band, 3 of the members (Giann, Ricky and Eriko) decided to start practicing again. Realizing that they were in need of an unclean vocal and a guitarist, the 3 invited Evan and Stevan for those respective spot. From then on, the band "A Bloody Candy" was formed.

For a few months, the band covered songs from Metalcore bands such as Of Mice & Men, Bring Me the Horizon, Parkway Drive, etc. Then after the growing boredom of only covering, the band decided to create their own songs.

During the writing of the first song, the band had to part ways with Eriko, due to personal reasons, and then Evan, due to educational reasons. After two members let go of the band's hold, another one joins in. Kevin, who was one of the member of the former band Against the Pressure, was trusted by the band to be the band's unclean vocalist.

Were formed in the late 2003. They've been through lots of formation changes since that day. Their first single, "Broken Lines and Empty Smiles" was released in August 2004. The single reached the first position in MTV Cutting Edge and lasted for 7 weeks. And later on, the single was re-recorded for the Anthems of Tomorrow v/a album which was released by dE records.

And in 2008, they released "Birth Of Expectation" EP with 6 tracks: "Langkah", "Between Logic and Sense", "Potret Kehampaan", "My Sweet Lullaby", "I'm Fading Away', and "Serenande". Their hits single "Potret Kehampaan" was a total bomb til now, reached almost all over the nation.

Sweet As Revenge now are more likely to be called as one of the best performing band. The energy delivered in every of their shows made the crowds feel the emotional atmosphere. They are constantly wheeling on the edge of losing control, toeing the line between pure insanity and self-control.

In 2012, with Dinand on Vocal, Qzoot on Guitar, Febri on Bass, Akmal on Guitar and Nanda on drums, are ready to launch their new album called "Live Life. Regret Nothing" with hits single "Bebas" and "Summer". They are truly hold their dreams continue to be the best.

Some might say, this is their best formation ever!
