Denny started producing music at the age of 15. At that time he got to know his best friend. He is 10 years older than Denny and produced EBM and Darkwave. At that time he dragged him to Dennys first techno festival. The first techno live performance he had ever seen, was by Vitalic, who to this day influenced his music the most. That night changed Dennys life, because when he saw that, he thought, "I also want to do this". Denny made his first steps with a very simple DAW on an old PC. The Techno Denny produced back then was just as he imagined it to himself... as even the most touched himself. The productions were always professional and he learned to take advantage of the tools. Some years later Denny could afford his first synth, He studied in order to achieve the maximum sound down to the last corner. This is a passion that he could never put up today. Whenever he get a new synth, he spends the whole night with it. Today Denny tries to arrange without samples as much as possible. Even Drum and Percussion are at least created by a VST synth. The music is influenced by Vitalic, Chris Liebing, Oliver Huntemann, Stephan Bodzin, David Bowie, etc.

A guitar shredding, drum scorching, piano plinking, bass wobbling silhouette of a singer, D.ablo is one of London's loudest musical secrets. Cutting his teeth as a featured vocalist, producer and musician he has worked with some of the UK's biggest talents. Now it's D.ablo's turn to take centre stage with the release of his debut album 'The Retrospective'.

Born and raised in East London on a diet of grunge, calypso and jazz, D.ablo is a product of his environment and an exception to the musical rules, combining mainstream charisma with underground originality. Influenced by everyday life and his open-minded musical taste, he writes anthems that have both immediate appeal and slow-burning hidden qualities.

D.ablo first came to the public’s attention as a member of the legendary UK hip hop crew TerraFirma, making a name for himself thanks to his unique vocal style and multi-instrumental abilities. Since then he has worked with a diverse group of artists including NERO, Maceo Plex, Alix Perez, Paloma Faith, Foreign Beggars (recently performing with them on the single 'Anywhere' at the iTunes Festival at London's Roundhouse), 16Bit, Ayah Marar and Noisia.
 
D.ablo also makes up one half of the Sleeping Giants production unit with fellow TerraFirma graduate Skriblah DanGogh.
 
His underground party and record label Boglewaltz is known for its eclectic music policy and fun-loving crowd. Recent guest performers have included Damian Marley, Aloe Blacc, Questlove, Benji B and MistaJam.

On 'The Retrospective', D.ablo showcases his talent alongside the producers he learned his craft with, moving between acoustic singer songwriter material, steel drum solos, emotional ballads and striking harmonies with the confidence of an artist sure of his roots but always looking to expand his musical horizons.
 
With an upcoming release schedule of new material, fresh collaborations and live appearances this album is really just the beginning of D.ablo's adventures as a solo artist...
