This is an original collaboration/co-write between myself Ron Todd and Pete Kavanagh. It's a bluesy/rock track. We hope you like it.

The Devils In Town

This is a song off my first album, Bridge Over Blue Water. I've updated the vocals and remixed the backing tracks.

I originally recorded this with the microphone from a Microsoft camera attached to the computer back in 2013. I laid down a rhythm track then a second track which was a bit of a lead. I used "Audacity" which fused the two tracks as a single stereo recording. It was strictly an instrumental. I then rerecorded it and added lyrics after trying several brands of mixing software.  It should be noted that the drum tracks were created using drum beat sounds which I pieced together.

Walk The Road

Introduction in English:

Manfred (‘Manne’) was my oldest friend. We used to play together in the sandpit. 
We were both very contrasting characters. I was ambitious for a long time and wanted to excel through special achievements. Manne, on the other hand, preached idleness and complete freedom from pressure even as a teenager.  He often laughed at me from his lotus position when I got bogged down in something. I secretly admired him for his attitude of pure being and complete freedom from purpose. 
Through him, I learnt about the benefits of slowness and pausing. And he was a sensitive companion when I came into contact with certain drugs such as cannabis, alcohol and cocaine in my early adulthood.     
Unfortunately, from his mid 20s onwards, he tipped more and more towards the destructive side of drug use. During this time, we both drifted further and further apart. The last time I saw him, he seemed like a wreck to me. I could already sense that things weren't going to be good with him for much longer. 
Nevertheless, I was shocked when I learnt of his early death at the age of just 31. 
Since then, I have visited his grave every year and see how many beautiful aspects of him live on in his son, who is my nephew. 
With this song, I would like to honour him with my own personal musical memorial.

I am an unsigned singer/songwriter from Sunderland in the north east UK.

I have been writing songs for a few years now and have CD's on various web sites such as CD Baby, Itunes , Spotify etc.  My goal is to write good songs and hopefully have come up with a few along the way.

I love wring and recording songs – it gives me great pleasure staring from nothing but a blank piece of paper and finally coming up with something that sounds good.

I have collaborated with other people while being on Soundcloud – my long-time partner Ralph Donkin writes exceedingly good lyrics and between us have come up with many a good song.

My other partner Glen Granthem from Sacramento in USA has also been inspirational in my recordings – he is a very talented musician and producer and has brought life to many of my songs that otherwise would have been second rate.  We also have collaborated on many songs.

I have written songs with other people and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their endeavours.
