So much talent from my part of the country (SW Louisiana, SE Texas) George Jones, Tracy Byrd, Mark Chesnutt, George Straight, Janis Joplin, Edgar Winters and the list goes on.  Tracy Lawrence sang with a Louisiana based band in 1988-1990.  He was shot 4 times by robbers in may 1991 which delayed his first album Sticks and Stones.  He was named top new male country vocalist in 1993.  He continues to create great music.  Just one of my favorite Tracy Lawrence songs.

A light-hearted piece for a change! This one was born by me singing to a pigeon in my garden. He or she kept coming to the patio asking for more peanuts and I started singing to it. I took some videos as I thought it was funny how the pigeon seemed to listen with its head turning side to side and even bob along in the same rhythm (that's how it seemed at least)! This went on for a few minutes. 

I sent a couple of videos to Morten who then created this! I love how some spontaneous funny moment can be turned into a little song :) It's a great memory of this moment too. Singing to animals is fun!

Ive always pursued my music from a very spontaneous perspective  starting with guitar, i try to approach  things in a very organic fashion even with electronic  modular  synths  i have logic + mother keyboard i never use it ! For me the work flow  must synchronise with how & what motivates me in the feeling of the moment in a natural chaos  ..deliberated yes of course but clicking around on a screen while writing makes me wanna blow my brains out . ! Anyway for me personally this track exemplifies that feeling of the moment in Celebration..One shot recorded live job done 🤗 Thanks for  listening 🤗🙏😊.This is a DAW-less production .

I think of this man as the Frank Sinatra of country music.  What
a voice and such a special gift.  So many wonderful songs and so many were so beautifully orchestrated.  I tried to get a bit of orchestra feel with the limited resources I have.

The much loved Radio Station was shutting down , a very sad day . This is the 2nd song by myself and well respected Alabama Lyricist Tony Harris , our next outing is a Country Rock song on the 22nd . Before that Charlie and the Fox have a cracking song out on the 15th of this Month , our working title was Sad Song , but it ended up a bit of a Dance track ( sort of ! ) Then on the 1st of May is a great track by brilliant New York Lyricist Andrea Brennan and I , working on a new one at the moment . So many thanks to everyone for sparing the time to listen !

When Charlotte sent me her rough idea for a song , it's working title was ' Sad Song ' , and it was going to be a ballad , as time went on it developed into a sort of dance track , we're so pleased with how this has turned out , hope you like it ! We've nearly finished a great Rock ballad , so excited about it . In the meantime I've nearly finished a super song with Lyricist Andrea Brennan from New York , we have our 1st song out on the 1st of May . Just before that on the 22nd of this month is a smashing Country Rock song I did with Alabama Lyricist Tony Harris , thank you for staying tuned !

Hello Again... I am ready to share my latest work with you! It's titled: "Worried bout Rain?"

Back in 2015 I wrote a song called "the Rain." and this is technically an updated version... but I practically re-wrote the verses however, the hook is from the original version.

This is a song about pursuing a relationship with someone who is reluctant to be in a relationship; 

Maybe they think it's bad timing with everything that's going on in the world; perhaps they're recovering from a break up and heart break and don't want to deal with another stormy relationship. 

This is a song about how rainy days as it pertain to emotion can have a positive and negative effect on your life.

Well folks , this is a change of direction . I heard Blaffy from Namibia on SC and thought " I wonder " It's a mixture of styles and cultures , and we think it really works , hope you do to ! We have another in the early stages , so watch this space boys and girls ( and anyone in between ! ) Loads of tracks lined up , collabs with Gaz Brownie/Nat Daniels , Andrea Brennan , and Tony Harris so far , me and Charlotte are working on a couple , so it's a busy old time !

Another one of those amazing Traditional songs where the original songwriter is unknown. Kurt Cobain resurrected it when he did an MTV Unplugged version. He was a huge fan of Leadbelly, who also recorded and performed various versions of it. The legendary Bill Monroe also covered it, among others. The song has been referred to often as "In The Pines" or "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" and sometimes referenced using both in the Title. This version features an AcoustaTronic approach and I revised the lyrics based on a number of different versions of the song in a way that made the most sense to me, personally. Also, finally figured out another opportunity to use my Native American Bamboo Kiowa Flute in the background......just because I've been trying to find a way to integrate it into one of these tunes in some way. This one was recorded in my own AcoustaTronic style long ago. Recently resurrected the files and ReMiXed. These haunting, memorable lyrics speak just as meaningfully to The Opioid and Heroin Crisis today, as when Reznor first penned the Original. I am an unsigned singer/songwriter from Sunderland in the north east UK.

I have been writing songs for a few years now and have CD's on various web sites such as CD Baby, Itunes , Spotify etc.  My goal is to write good songs and hopefully have come up with a few along the way.

I love wring and recording songs – it gives me great pleasure staring from nothing but a blank piece of paper and finally coming up with something that sounds good.

I have collaborated with other people while being on Soundcloud – my long-time partner Ralph Donkin writes exceedingly good lyrics and between us have come up with many a good song.

My other partner Glen Granthem from Sacramento in USA has also been inspirational in my recordings – he is a very talented musician and producer and has brought life to many of my songs that otherwise would have been second rate.  We also have collaborated on many songs.

I have written songs with other people and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their endeavours.

Thank you for all of you that have listened and commented on my songs and those who will in the future.  I am very grateful that you stopped by and listened – hope you have enjoyed what you have heard.
