TDP is a project I started back in '07 and abandoned just three years later. The end result was three albums worth of usable material that remained unreleased for 10 years, (besides the occasional Myspace upload). I started writing/producing more guitar based music in the years that followed. Growing up, my older brother introduced me to bands like Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Devo, Skinny Puppy, Front 242, Frontline Assembly, KMFDM, Dead Can Dance .. While subsequently growing attached to more "rock" oriented bands such as Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins. After a brief love affair with Punk Rock, I started getting into Elliott Smith, Radiohead, Beck... or anything that resonated. Which then shifted back into Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Portishead, Amon Tobin and Massive Attack, (which felt like familiar territory) and thus; my musical palette was finally formed. Subsequently, I started experimenting with DAW's for the first time in 2006. Prior to that I was recording acoustic demos and trippy organ music on a Tascam 4 track tape recorder. Aside from being a self taught guitarist since the age of 11, I've never been able to shake my love for experimental electronic music. These tracks range from IDM/Synth-Pop to Ambient & Atmospheric. So I figured I would unearth these songs, compile them into album form and finally share them with you.
