The first interpretation of ‘My Message’ is provided by Eric Louis who makes his label debut. With a career that spans well over a decade, American artist Eric Louis has more than etched his place in the history of house and techno.

The New York resident holds the distinction of winning the 2015 Victor Calderone remix competition amidst three-hundred entries. Released via MATTER+, the project not only elevated Eric’s status as a producer, but further fuelled his creative fire across releases for Bondage Music, Get Physical, Spclnch, Mixcult, Moxy Music and Nervous Records.

John Digweed would become a supporter of Eric’s music moving forward, including his ‘Waiting in the Rain’ on a mixed and compiled series for Apple Music. Not one to rest on his laurels, 2021 would see Eric launch his own imprint Devilish Affair, an outlet for dub-leaning sounds which would be championed by a wide assortment of trend-setting DJs, most notably Andrey Pushkarev, Evan Baggs, Jon Hester, The Pornbugs and Vlad Caia.

Now, following his latest Devilish Affair vehicle ‘Midnight Noir’, Eric makes his REFRACTION debut with an energetic rendition of ‘My Message’. Flowing through bustling rhythms and icy glimmers, the piece evolves with a veteran’s savvy, eventually revealing the main themes from the original, all neatly constructed with more of a straightforward dancefloor approach.

He has exerted a significant influence on the dance music scene in the Middle East, India, and now expanding his impact globally over the span of several decades. Although techno currently dominates the dance music landscape, he has consistently advocated for cutting-edge music, whether in the realm of Techno or Electronica.

An innovative DJ and visionary promoter, Adam introduced avant-garde techno and electronic music to the Middle East shortly before the turn of the millennium. Through his WARPED nights, he laid the foundation for an exceptionally credible dance music scene. WARPED has transformed into exclusive gatherings and a monthly radio show called 'Warped After Hours' on Ibiza Global Radio, featuring emerging talents from the Middle East and India alongside Adam's unparalleled music curation.

Further accomplishments ensued through his contributions at Ohm Records, the renowned record store and agency he managed for many years, which introduced brands like Chill Out Festival, Taboo, iLL Communications and many more. Frequently, he would also perform during those events, demonstrating his versatility across a spectrum of styles encompassing deep, rhythmic and captivating vibes. He has shared the stage with notable figures like Derrick May, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, and numerous other renowned artists. Subsequently, he became an indispensable member of the acclaimed Groove on the Grass festival team, once again positioning himself at the forefront of innovative dance music scene in the Middle East. In doing so, he continued to propel techno and electronica toward a burgeoning audience.

The advancement he achieved on a regional scale has been mirrored by his international performances, spanning Europe and Asia, and elevating him to a headlining position in his home countries, India & UAE. As a certified sound engineer, he swiftly transitioned into production roles, releasing music on labels
worldwide, as well as on his cherished KitchenSync Records—a label he co-manages in Dubai with two other friends. His DJ sets have garnered global attention, with his mix for Resident Advisor's Wild City being the inaugural
feature from India.

Through his A \ S \ O \ M alias, he has put forth a diverse range of music encompassing downtempo, leftfield, and alternative electronica. Adam's growth, evolution, and success mirror that of his initial passion, techno. Adam delves into a broad spectrum within the house and techno genre, presenting an array that spans from deep, dark, hypnotic, driving, loopy sounds to the groove-infused house and techno influenced by the Romanian music scene.

His performances are characterized by their ever-changing nature, steering clear of predictability while offering a unique experience each time.

A nightlife brand created in Dubai, WARPED has a dedicated following of people who are passionate about quality electronic music. WARPED was created as a platform for DJ’s to showcase what they are about and has launched many of Dubai’s top acts. The first night in the region and the sub continent dedicated purely to the underground sounds of House & Techno. Inspiring and guiding the next generation of talent from the region interested in this sound. WARPED has been instrumental in shaping the clubbing landscape of Dubai and India over the years.

Started in 2004 by Adam Rahman, as a platform to showcase the edgier, disruptive and the more underground style of electronic music in Dubai. Over the years it's grown into a platform showcasing local and international talent while educating and spreading the sounds, ideas and philosophy behind our scene. WARPED, it’s not just a Dubai based phenomenon, now the industry in India, the States and Europe recognizing its contribution in spreading the sound of the underground.

WARPED has managed to evolve while staying true to its roots and not losing sight of why we do it. While all this sounds serious, the parties when hosted are crazy and often over the top, leaving dancers screaming for more. “Hedonistic Debauchery” is a phrase often used by a friend when he wants to describe WARPED. Presently our podcasts and Radio shows on Ibiza Global showcase talents from across the globe, artists and labels that echo our sounds and mirror our vision.
