When I first heard Better by Nimino, I couldn’t stop listening.
There was something about that choir — emotional, deep and pure — that completely pulled me in.
I wanted to give it more space, more warmth, and turn it into something you can truly feel.

This is my take on Better — slow, melodic, and full of emotion.

First podcast by Jos Lok who released on archipel in the last years and is also a close collaborator to Pheek's studio.

Jos lok is a Techno and House producer from Groningen, the Netherlands.
Jos Lok is a DJ and producer residing in the beautiful city of Groningen, the Netherlands. Jos has been obsessed with rhythmical sounds from a young age. He naturally started moving his feet or nodding his head when hearing even a hint of groove. Not only catchy percussion caught his attention, deep emotional chords and melodies were also very welcome. As a result of his encompassing love for music, Jos started playing the drums when he was nine years old. After a few years of going through the metal music repertoire and playing in a band he acquired a new taste in music. His focus was redirected to Techno music back when he first entered the club and festival scene. Evidently, he started producing his own Techno and House. A stripped down beat, groovy bass and just the right chords or another melodic component is the perfect formula for inspiration for Jos.
Nowadays, Jos Lok manages to make a wonderful blend of minimalistic sounds and House music. His style can be distinctly categorised by its aim for innovation. His tracks can be described as a colourful story that progresses into a strong groove. His music has been released on labels such as Archipel and Vivus records. Jos Lok receives support from artist like Pheek, Christhoper Ledger, David Gtronic and Noah Skelton.

You don’t stay around for as long without substance and the ability to evolve.  A nightlife brand created in Dubai, WARPED has a dedicated following of people who are passionate about quality electronic music. WARPED was created as a platform for DJ’s to showcase what they are about and has launched many of Dubai’s top acts. The first night in the region and the sub continent dedicated purely to the underground sounds of House & Techno. Inspiring and guiding the next generation of talent from the region interested in this sound. WARPED has been instrumental in shaping the clubbing landscape of Dubai and India over the years.

Started in 2004 by Adam Rahman, as a platform to showcase the edgier, disruptive and the more underground style of electronic music in Dubai. Over the years it's grown into a platform showcasing local and international talent while educating and spreading the sounds, ideas and philosophy behind our scene. WARPED, it’s not just a Dubai based phenomenon, now the industry in India, the States and Europe recognizing its contribution in spreading the sound of the underground.

WARPED has managed to evolve while staying true to its roots and not losing sight of why we do it. While all this sounds serious, the parties when hosted are crazy and often over the top, leaving dancers screaming for more. “Hedonistic Debauchery” is a phrase often used by a friend when he wants to describe WARPED. Presently our podcasts and Radio shows on Ibiza Global showcase talents from across the globe, artists and labels that echo our sounds and mirror our vision.
