They told us, "Don't worry, the sky is watched, We got space agencies, no need to be shocked!" Satellites up, telescopes tight, Tracking the cosmos with all their might!

Till oops—"That asteroid just slid right by, Spotted it late, thought we'd all die!" Like, what kinda system is this? They missed the rock, but sent us a report—dismissed!

Yo, they GUESS, they HOPE, they PRAY, "Maybe we'll catch the next one someday?" Nah, bro, this ain't defense, This is blind luck disguised as science!

Telescopes? Limited. Coverage? A joke. Most the sky's dark—data up in smoke! Big agencies flex, but here’s the drill, They spot maybe 1%, while space stays filled!

Not to mention, half the data's stale, They study rocks from years-old tales! If a cosmic threat actually rolls in, "Uhhhh… we just noticed it. Run!"
