Heartfelt song about my kids and me....all the thoughts a man or woman has of possible failure and not being there.  Not being right, not knowing the right path or have the right answers. Am I doing a good job?  Did I screw them up too much? Doak Turner is the cowriter on this one along with Pamela Oland.

I fell in love with this song in 1984 and not because of the band the Oak Ridge Boys, but because I somehow received a demo by the writer and I learned it from that. So well written by Gary Burr and he went on to be one of the countries BEST SONGWRITERS.  So glad I found this.  I don't remember who recorded it.  I FEEL like I was singing with John Burnham at the time...but it was 36 years ago...and I can barely remember where I was living back then!   Hope you like it.
