After over a decade of playing in alternative rock bands, including his current band The Post War, Warren Thompson is releasing his first solo acoustic guitar album. 

This song was written and recorded during the pandemic and is the first and title single off Warren’s debut acoustic finger style album. 

It was recorded in Vancouver, BC and was mixed and mastered by Antoine Dufour. “March to your Own” will be followed up by an album of 8 original finger style tracks.

"1885" is the first single after Warren's debut acoustic fingerstyle guitar album "March to your Own", released in 2022. 

The song starts off like a locomotive, but opens up into a spacial array of harmonics, giving the listener a chance to breathe and enjoy the view before barreling back down the tracks.
