On April 23rd, we aka Disco Bizarre were invited to rock the KitKat Club live stream with our signature sound. Before the pandemic we hosted the disco floor at Kitty weekly and it was so nice to bring funky vibrations back into our homebase 🥰 Thanks to the whole team and especially Cara Carpaccio, Lisbird, RSS Disco and Billy Idle for the exceptional sets.

Daensen started DJing at the age of 13. After living in Berlin extensively recently relocated to Leipzig. Few things to know before you press play on this one. Daensen is a founder of the Drosssel label and part of the DJ duo KGLN and production duo DAENGER. Drawn to the weirder side of music, easily bored with going in a single direction. Played many festivals and clubs including Fusion Festival, Garbicz festival, Katerblau, Sisyphos, Harry Klein and many other. Listen and enjoy this stunning selection he prepared for us⚡️

Unser diesjähriger Beitrag für das Fusion Festival. Am frühen Montag hätten wir eigentlich in unserer Lieblingshöhle das Closing gespielt.

Um diesem Erlebnis möglichst nahe zu kommen, haben wir drei Tage am Stück bei geschlossenem Fenster Kette geraucht und waren zu Beginn des Sets ziemlich verkatert. Sind dann doch irgendwie klar gekommen.

Our contribution to this year's Fusion Festival. On early Monday we would have played the closing in our favourite cave.

To get as close as possible to this experience, we smoked chain for three days in a row, windows closed, and were pretty hungover at the beginning of the set. But then we somehow got along.

How soon is now. <3

Berlin-based artists Crille & Tamalt's style is a purposeful genre mix influenced heavily by their true love of synthesizers and drum computers, remaining well-defined at both peak times and after hours. Despite their passion for raving and digging for music, they never want to lose sight of the shitty nature of the present. That's the reason why their motto remains: Nichts ist gut!

Marc und Mark alias René und Silvio aus Frankfurt/Oder waren seit vier Jahren bereits ein musikalisches Liebespaar, als sie 2005 zum ersten Mal aufgerufen waren, gemeinsam zum Auflegen auf der Fusion aufzulaufen. Bis dahin waren sie auf diesem Festival, zu dessen Kreis von Veranstaltenden sie damals beide zählten, entweder mit Hörspiel-Copilot oder ganz alleine unterwegs. 

Die Sportbrigade war im Jahr zuvor erstmals unter diesem Namen in Erscheinung getreten und hatte für erstes Aufsehen gesorgt. Mit dem Auftritt am Sonntag morgen auf der Turmbühne traten die Beiden endgültig in die Wahrnehmung einer größeren Schnittmenge von Fusiongänger*innen und darüber hinaus. 

Als großes Glück erwies sich der Umstand, dass ein Festivalgast sein Aufnahmegerät angeschlossen und das Resultat im Forum des Festivals geteilt hatte. So blieb uns das wilde Set als Zeitdokument erhalten. 

Gut abgehangen, bisher nie veröffentlicht und mit einigem historischen Bezug versehen gelangt dieser Vinyl-only Mitschnitt nun in die Öffentlichkeit.
