Hashman Deejay stands out as one of those DJ's and producers where he lets the music do the talking. Like fellow collaborators PLO Man & C3D-E you won't see many interviews, let alone photos - they show up to the party and do their thing. 
With a vast range of alias' and collaborative projects Hashman has been responsible for some of the rawest sounds in experimental, breaks, house and techno. As well as a DJ his vast taste can expand anywhere from shoegaze and punk, disco and raw chicago sounds, to dubbed acid and techno. 
For this mix the selector has dug deep into the tape hiss sounding crates covering oldschool beats that could be mistaken for an OG Ras G tape, dub flowing onwards into some select acid house and more synth focused club sounds all working together with the most seamless touch. We had a very brief chat with Hashman about his mix but this one is all about the sounds and he lets that do the talking.

Serenity Now returns with the next dose of bangers from DOC ’N’ P1LL (aka @docjay_unlimited & @p1ll) in the form of RX PRESCRIPTIONS Volume 2.

Following last year’s widely appreciated debut, the Stockholm-based duo is back with four brand new club-oriented tracks, once again rooted in their self-made genre Synth-Tech – a fusion of synth-driven techhouse, melodic tech and deep house, built around a sound that’s cerebral and deep. With their unique sound, DOC ’N’ P1LL mix snappy drums and percussive elements with hard-hitting melodies, creating tracks that hit with precision and energy.

Volume 2 explores a wider range of moods while keeping things direct and floor-focused. From the bouncy opener to the more hypnotic and stripped-down moments, each track reflects the duo’s long-standing experience both behind the decks and in the studio.

If Volume 1 laid the foundation for Synth-Tech, this second installment takes it further – deeper, weirder, and even more confident. Four new flavours. Same prescription. No filler – just four cuts made for peak-time impact.

The 17th Virtual Utopia update has been created by Mexico-based sonic scientist Gerhard (@esenciamx) - A DJ  who’s sound has been immersed in a positive floating ambience that has always been a great inspiration to us here at the Dream Software corporation. Also known for being the head engineer of the Escensia blog and mix series- a constant emission of quality sine-wave based content with a trademark euphoric infusion.

A two-hour audible offering illustrating scenes of a utopian future. An existence imbued with hope and optimism where cooling airs and a warming sun remind us of the balance needed to exist in harmony here. Comforting pads and ethereal softness drift amongst the various genres and tempos that really make this mix a beautiful sonic landscape. We hope you enjoy it.

A Colourful Storm is a record label based in Melbourne, Australia that releases a diverse range of electronic and otherworldly sounds. This GhostlyCast is by label runner Moopie and friend Bayu. Together they have released two compilations: I Won’t Have To Think About You (2017) and Still in my Arms (2020). Made in two different places during the first lockdown in Melbourne, their mix collects old favorites and other music they came across while researching Still In My Arms, spanning unearthed IDM, techno, and indie-pop gems.
