Hydrofunk Records is a label we started out in 1997, It came about as a club night where we could put on acts and play music that wasn't getting a look in amongst the music industry .. 
26 years on we have seen many artists on the label some have moved on others are still arriving," we are an indie label " 
I DJ a lot as DeeJaye Katch, I also  DJ with my musical friend Dave Dog as 2dogs we also have a band called Resin Dogs we have played in many other bands, projects and recordings around Australia and the globe, 
We Love making, playing, mixing, remixing, recording.

Open Records is a techno, house and electronica imprint based out of the sunny state of Queensland, Australia. Founded in the lush tropical paradise of Cairns in 2007 and now managed out of the bustling metropolis of Brisbane, Open has grown into a respected and prolific label with more than 70 releases from artists in all corners of the globe.

The Open sound is just that. Over the years we have released everything from deep, organic, progressive and tech house, to staunch minimal, hypnotic tribal, driving techno and abstract electronica. What has remained constant is our desire to represent the intelligent, groovy, dancefloor-oriented sound of the Australian festival and party culture, with a little help from our friends around the world, too.

Along the way we've managed to top the Beatport charts, featured in the playlists of some of the world's biggest DJs and radio shows and helped launch the career of some of Australia's most talented artists. Not bad for a crazy idea hatched in a small city in regional Australia! Big respect to everyone who has supported us on our journey, we wouldn't be where we are today without you.
