Had a lot of fun making this! It started off as a more purely trance track, but once I started adding live drums it went more into the jungle / asian vibes and I just went with it, even went a bit of psycho breaks there at the end. I have been adding to this over the past few weeks, and now I consider it done. I think I went too far in the direction of obsessing over online penalties the past year, and it has been affecting the masters as of late. I tried to not worry too much about the loudness numbers after penalties and clipping etc this time around and instead going more by how it actually sounds like in my preferred headset, like I used to. Enjoy!

so here's an electro song that's been sitting on the harddisk for a while. it might sound off a little mainstream-ish and lack the melody on the first part of the drop but overall i like how this one wraps up in the end.

it was supposed to be an extended version of (again) an EP full of songs two minutes in length (alongside with 行く！ and Chemical Plants") but i feel like giving up on that album now that i've released like, all of the extended versions of the songs that might be in that EP.

ALSO WITH THIS i'm going to say that i might have a 175-180BPM songs EP coming out. i've never really had EPs released before so this might get awkward but i got a bunch of projects that i finished that i want to give out to people. it's like batch releasing or something, i don't know lol.

It moves! I finally made it work! 
Another lit beacon in the ocean...
This is the next installment in my "skyworld" music series, and the last time I will call it that outright, I have decided to rename the project "Welkin", after much deliberation. Too many similar names out there in very close categories.

Both the track and the video was a learning process, but mostly the animation. I hit many walls and had to find a lot of workarounds for problems I did not know I would have. But I managed to figure it out in the end. The 3d objects are projected onto 2d animation calculating for 3d space.
Now that I know how to do this better it will take way less time in the future.

Welkin Wing

Octagon force! It had to happen :D
So.. I came across the original hexagon force file, and started playing around with the instruments and riffs in my off-time. Some weeks later, and here we are! I've seen a lot of people joking about this being the sequel, so I just decided to embrace the meme and call it exactly that.


This track went through many stages and had parts removed and remade. It was not really supposed to be such a monumental task, but as always that's what ended up happening. I'm happy with the end result, but It was a journey, and enough is happening that I'm sure you will discover even more melodies on listen 2 and 3. However, I am not completely happy with the mastering. I also insisted on keeping 16 bit drums in the track because I like that hollow bit-crushed sound, but it also made the job a lot harder. With the amount of instruments and distortion in this track, I had to just call it a day at some point. I've worked for SO long on this track now I feel like the track is burned into my brain-stem. I hear it in my sleep. So I have no idea how it actually sounds for a normal person, there might be way too much going at any given time. Maybe one day it can get a remaster, but for now, this is what I have the energy for haha.
