After a guest appearance on our Secret Weapons, he is now back with a true representation of pop alike Vocals and a knack for Detroit Elements. – The “Poptroit EP”. The four tracks are characterized by steady driving rhythms, bubbling basslines, vocal samples and synth chords, a blend designed to keep your dance shoes moving. The EP is drawing inspiration from various fields and artists while adding another fresh layer to our catalog. Without a doubt, these productions leave a lasting impression and atmosphere, as already proven in our label head’s sets. The EP kicks off with "Silvio," featuring a rolling bassline reminiscent of the disco edits from the 2000s, like "Je Dàvu’s – Limitiert #9" or Rub n Tug’s classic edits, yet with a remarkably wild touch that gives the track its unique character. "Aus Music" might already be familiar to some from Dixon’s Cercle set and is, without question, a standout. It combines clever production with a certain spice that makes it a special companion in your usb stick and disco bag. Finally, "Mulher Gato" rounds out the EP, providing a fitting conclusion to a release that is set to resonate long after the last note.

Watergate Records is glad to welcome back Adana Twins, longtime members of the label’s family, with a new release in collaboration with Portuguese producer Xinobi, who made his debut on the label earlier this year. 

Together, the duo unveils the Higher EP, a journey through electro-funk landscapes that combines Adana Twins' deep, melodic sensibilities with Xinobi's eclectic, genre-blending flair.

To take things further, the EP includes a powerful remix from Afro House heavyweight Malóne. Known for his ability to craft rhythms that resonate with the energy of big-room and festival stages, Malóne reimagines "Higher" with an Afro-inspired twist, that lifts the track into a dynamic, dance-floor-ready anthem.
