After the long pandemic that we’ve all witnessed, this track was made to support the clubbing industry, which has been through a lot recently. With some disco touch, this track is very uplifting and will make you dance. 

As they like to create and be part of new project, they also for the occasion, produce and realize a video clip which they will release soon on their youtube channel the September the 10th. They gather a group of music lovers and bring them into empty and iconic clubs of Paris and let them express themselves. It’s been a while that we didn’t dance...

Already a household name in Berlin, with gigs at Watergate, Sisyphos and more under her belt, Stil Vor Talent regular Deer Jade returns to production with new vigour on an exciting collaboration with Dominican producer Vander. His sound is distinctive yet diverse, dancing between Afro-Latin influences, synthwave and the darker side of disco which we can hear on releases via Pipe & Pochet, Discos Tabu and Klassified. 

‘Intergalactic Tango’ instantly teleports you to a dreamy destination with use of Mâhfoud’s exotic synth work and Moroccan sounding organ chords. Jade’s sensual vocals encourage you to keep exploring the sonic landscape of this daytime lounge record. Perfect for the warmer days and nights ahead. 

The package comes with two fantastic remixes, the first from Parisian duo Chambord, who take a bit more of a deeper approach to the track and creates an ethereal atmosphere. The gentle arp keeps the rhythm moving and pairs perfectly with the stripped back percussion.

The second from Pandhora who take the original on a more dancefloor focused approach. There is a distinct contrast between the deep / groovy bassline and the smoother, almost jazzy chord progression. Replacing the organ chords with funk guitar strums adds a subtle French flare to their edit.  The trio unleash a heavenly sound together. A unique release with deep squelchy bass combined with a striped back groove for a Latin-infused masterclass.

All aboard the ‘Ark’: Two by two, four by four, whatever… Whichever way you want to board, the doors of this great vessel are open and Monaberry bossmen Super Flu are the proud captains.

Their first full voyage of the year, ‘Ark’ is a stately piece of techno noir theatre designed to wrestle the choppiest of dancefloor seas. A multi-layered narrative laced with crispy arpeggios and strange otherworldly talkbox textures, it’s an oceanic titan that ploughs through the heaviest of elements with grace and majesty.

‘Doppt’ takes us to the next waymark on the map. Gently rhythmic from the moment its first shakers kiss your ears, we’re soon satiated with tightly plucked percussive elements, subtle humanised textures and a sense of momentum that’s tightly coiled with suspense and drama in a way that only Super Flu know how.

Finally our feet touch terra firma with the mysterious afro house maverick Hyenah as he provides an earthy remix stampede. Flexing between African rhythms, powerful 4/4s and a tantalising breakdown salvo, it’s yet another sterling revision from the masked beast… And another exceptional Monaberry trip from the one and only Super Flu. The third of our three EP vinyl and digital releases of WhoMadeWho’s Watergate 26 mix is here and it begins with Echonomist’s infectious and style bending ‘At The End Of The Day’. Mathias Schober seals the A side delivering a wild ride of warm percussion and intense strings while Stereocalypse flips the script commencing the B-side with the Dance Rock anthem ‘King Not Naked’. Clinching the release, Tim Engelhardt’s ‘Under Armour’ is an intoxicating excursion into late night dance floor theatrics making it the ideal cut to complete the EP.
