The Story behind La Plata :

Where was the single/EP/album recorded and who was involved in its production?
It was recorded in Saeul, the smallest village in Luxembourg one of the smallest country in European Union. DoosC is the composer & producer of this track.

Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?
La Plata is the result of an experiment, where the starting point was the selection of a random place on Google Street View. The chance fell on the city of La Plata in Argentina. The single is built around what the city inspired to DoosC.   

Can you briefly describe what the song/each song is about? If you are releasing an album then either describe the thinking behind the project or choose a couple of lead tracks to focus on.
The idea of the track is to make a modern EDM track inspired by traditional musical elements typical of Argentina. For example the chord progression is based on a typical tango chord progression in A minor. Also the waterdrums you can hear in the track are inspired by those of indigenous tribes from early Argentina. The main lead has a very electronic character but is not without reminding the andean flute. And the unusual 3/4 time signature gives a latino groove to the rhythm. 

Were there any notable or amusing happenings surrounding the recording/production of the EP? As above, list whatever might be of relevance.
When DoosC started discussing ideas around La Plata with WaterSlash, the latter was not convinced by the artistic concept imagined by DoosC. But once the track started to gain strength and character, WaterSlash became very excited about how the track was developing.

Between Fire And Ice

WaterSlash is a young French electronic music producer.
He made his debut with the support of DoosC during the March 2020 lockdown and released his first track "Mellow Life" on December 25 of the same year. He now continues to produce awesome tracks and to perfect his craft.

He uses his melancholy of past moments and happy memories as the basis for all his creations, seeking to translate deep feelings into his music. He has found his wonderful way to communicate, to make feel or to make his audience dance.
WaterSlash loves to create rich, sublime, but also mysterious and deep sound.
He creates his music out of passion, seeking to spontaneously translate the mood of the moment and immortalize it in music.

WaterSlash creates music of many different styles and everyone can find the track that represents his little universe and gives him power.

WaterSlash has been on the electronic music scene for a short time, but is looking forward to making a name for itself.
