For this month‘s wav:es series we present you Kalte Liebe. 
The sound of the Berlin duo Kalte Liebe is defined by a mixture of EBM and old school dark wave paired with technoid characteristics. In combination with overdriven vocals and analog basslines, the two producers create their distinctive dirty and modern sound for which they are known. In this podcast they also show their love for different genres like Tool and High Energy Techno, but always with a focus on the groove.

With recent releases and bookings for 01010100 Records, Vitus Curse & BFT, but also strong self-releases and their recent label launch "Sys.Ex" they stand out from the crowd and slowly establish their name in the scene.

Based in Berlin and with Russian roots, @kalteliebe keep drawing their inspiration from Post-Punk, Grunge, Dark Wave, EBM, and Techno. Coming with years-long experiences in different musical projects ranging from beat-making over metal bands, Hip Hop ensembles, and more the project started back in 2019 using a drum machine, a bass synth, and a wasted microphone, only.
Authentically recorded in a 12 square meter room in Berlin Kalte Liebe started out as an experiment combining diverse influences by the likes of Sydney Vallette, Thomas P. Heckmann @troperecordings, @dieselektion, DAF, Falco, and more into their distinctively analog, raw, and bassline-driven style.
While their productions are mostly consisting of an elaborated mixture of EBM and old-school Dark Wave paired with technoid characteristics and captivating, roughly distorted vocals in German and Englisch the duo equally stands for tool-ish and highly energetic Techno – modern, pounding, and dirty.
With recent releases on labels like @01010100records , @vituscurse & BFT, even more strongly performing self-releases like „Ego EP“and their recently launched label „Sys.Ex“ they are slowly establishing their name in the scene and quickly growing their audience. With a live performance in the making and packed with loads of unreleased work Kalte Liebe is soon to be heard all over.

The Berlin-based duo has emerged as one of our favorite projects across EBM, techno and more with their genre shattering productions and sets. Authentically recorded in a 12 square meter room Kalte Liebe started out as an experiment combining diverse influences and have since put out killer material on on labels like 01010100 Records, Vitus Curse and BFT.  The Brvtalist also recently premiered their single "Dopamin" which remains one of our favorite tracks at the moment. With lots of unreleased in the pipeline we're excited for what's next.

Présent sur nos scènes à plusieurs reprises, il l'est désormais sur notre label aussi.

Through different styles, Bours? has built a unique universe integrating energetic, groovy and refreshing sounds, often enhanced by energetic vocals and powerful kicks that reflect a positive side of high BPM techno.

Present on our stages several times, he is now on our label too.

MSKD’s project was born by the desire to make a techno for a dancefloor and characterized by a feeling, an expression of melancholia and multiples sorts of emotions. This is explained by some atmosphere with subtle tones, strong and fast rythmic with a personnal touch.

MSKD is also the owner of the imprint record label “Diligences Records”, designed for this electronic’s vision & co-owner of KTK Records Label with his partner Vizionn.
