The Soul Quo 

A collection of edits/blends I worked on in the past 1-2 years. Exploring some of my favourite soul/r&b records and putting a twist on them. Some are club friendly and some are good to listen to while you're on your ones. Featuring remix styles inspired from Afrohouse, Reggae, Amapiano, Dancehall & Afrobeats.

A couple of these are really just demos but I don't think I will ever get around to making them polished or finished properly. This project, in a way, is prioritizing the responsibility of sharing art thats been sent from the universe, whether or not it's been perfected in it's human form. I could list endless reasons why each of these should continue to sit in my hard drive but maybe that's just resistance speaking. I choose to let them go because the weight of holding onto the work outweighs my perfectionism.
