This was made in under a week to prepare for a show in Baltimore. On the one hand, I wanted to show some love for this song, as it really is beautiful; on the other hand, I knew that if I wanted to give it the kind of remix that fully respects its virtues, I'd never finish it. A balance had to be struck.

Over a year ago, I set out to make a very ambitious, sentimental track. It... didn't work very well, and I managed to accomplish this better with plenty of other tracks. But I nevertheless promised to finish the song, mostly because working on other tracks while this one began to fester was starting to weigh on me. So, over a year after we started, here's the song, warts and all.
