The summer's vocal anthem has arrived, crafted by Los Angeles' leading lady Kristina Sky, the UK's Danny Stubbs (Perfecto, Solaris, Discover) and renowned Californian vocalist Evan Henzi. 
Rollercoaster is the trio's second outing, their previous single High Tide [Perfecto] was praised across the board for its infectious vocal hook and ear-worm melodies - but the guys have gone one better with Rollercoaster. This is a soundtrack to fresh summer memories. 

Kristina and Danny have created a subtle, enticing and enthralling canvas for Evan's soaring and lyrically poignant vocal across three versions, with warm, punchy and pin-sharp production. 

Following up the package of original mixes, this remix pack features remixes from Paul Sawyer (BBC Radio 1 / Krafted Music) and Glynn Alan. Paul takes Rollercoaster down a prog route, keeping the vibe summery and adding a rolling groove and some evocative atmosphere. The song is built around a cyclical, intimate power struggle, using the image of the “widow” as a metaphor for a lover who is alluring, dangerous, and ultimately dominant. From the opening candlelit scene, the relationship is framed as something worn down by repetition rather than novelty — desire persists, but it’s tangled with imbalance. The narrator is aware of the trap even as he steps back into it, signalling consent mixed with resignation rather than innocence.

Throughout the song, imagery of webs, venom, stings, and surrender reinforces a dynamic where attraction and harm are inseparable. The narrator oscillates between agency and submission: he chooses to return, yet acknowledges he is owned within the struggle. References to plainness versus polish, control versus need, and pain entwined with pleasure underline a psychological dependence rather than simple lust. Nothing here is accidental — each return to the widow’s bed is a conscious repetition of a known outcome.

By morning, the illusion fades, revealing the encounter as a battlefield rather than a victory. There is no redemption arc or moral resolution; instead, the song closes on inevitability. The cycle is not broken — only paused. The final chorus reinforces this fatalistic loop, leaving the listener with a sense of quiet exhaustion and acceptance rather than climax, making the song less about seduction itself and more about the human tendency to re-enter familiar harm.
