Virus B is the musical project of Virginie Borriazzi, a composer and a guitarist interested in manipulating the sound. She attempts to create an unlimited universe...

Many of the tracks here were produced using Reaper software. Vocals were recorded with a condenser microphone, and guitars were recorded directly into a sound card with amp emulations. All other sounds were created using virtual synthesizers or real-world sounds that were then processed.

For several months, no computer has been used in the creative process.  The gear for composing, recording and mixing is : Akai MPC One, Roland SP-404 MKII, Novation Circuit Tracks, Novation Circuit Rhythm, Arturia DrumBrute Impact, Zoom H2N. A computer is only used for the final step of production : mastering.

No AI is involved in the tracks of this project.

I make music for fun and to get away. I have multiple styles, although my biggest influence is in electronic music.

I am self taught and learned with Music Studio 2 on a first generation ipad 11 years ago. I have never composed before. Perform more than 80 songs a year for the first 6-7 years to learn about the program and develop creativity to compose. I have listened to different types of music throughout my life and maybe that has helped me.

I still compose only with an ipad (last generation), but I no longer work only with native MS2 instruments since I have expanded my instrument library with programs such as Audiokit, Digital D1, kv331, Sunrizer, etc ...

My music can be downloaded, but not used for commercial purposes (my authorization is required).

I make different music..depends what mood I'm in. Thanks to some incredible people on here , my music has been heard which is always a surprise to me - I do this for fun , because if it's not fun.. then why make it??

I've been DJing off and on since the 80s, got serious during covid and started to record and post weekly sets. I've an odd format - I pick 16 new tracks each week, mostly from ZipDJ, and put them together to make a set, I don't pick tracks which go together, just what I really like. Making them flow is often a real challenge. I love sharing the music I love.

My set descriptions are often about my journey of healing.

I’m more of a DJ who loves to be creative with music and loves to perform, and wants to share this creativity with others.  Lately, I’ve been experimenting with Groovepad. It’s an app that I use on my iPhone and the loops are made by other amazing artists and producers. All I’m doing is having a blast arranging and rearranging these amazing loops during a live recording and sharing these experiences with everyone. Good or bad, it’s a great time to celebrate life! 😁 I have an understanding of music fundamentals from being in band, jazz band, etc. and I have a real passion for the universal language of music.
