Wawesh is an artist, composer, songwriter, producer and talent developer heavily exhaling a
breath of freshness into the international urban genre whilst truly representing his origin
country Kenya. His production credits go way back and he is already a renowned name in
production circles throughout Scandinavia. The aim is to introduce new talent that can take
east African music to a new level and raise the bar regarding quality, image & innovation.

Born Robert Wawero Kiboy aka Wawesh. The multi-talented, hungry, determined and
enterprising Kenyan immediately struck a chord with his initial offerings. His highly rotated
late debut single, "Mjanja" was heard on street corners, dance floors, and Internet
connections worldwide and remains a major anthem in Kenya cementing his status in pan-
Africa as an artist/producer with serious intent. He is the founder of the label and non-profit
initiative Penya Africa www.penya-africa.com where he developed and produced the artists,
Stan, Dela, Sauti Sol & Muthoni the Drummer Queen.

Bamzigi (Necessary Noize) “Shadez Av Mizuka”, 1 song on Sasha P (NIG) latest album, 2
songs on General Pypes (NIG) latest album, Album of the Mombasa group W@zushi and
currently working on the album of his 14 yr old daughter YOme.
After having produced and managed Penya Africa and achieving the goal he is now up for a
new challenge, which is to cross borders with Africa and the rest of the world and create great
music and impact.
