@sam-shyshka is a Kyiv-based DJ exploring various genres with focus on tribal and dub motives. He is a co-founder of Observers Experience and has performed at places like Brukxt, HVLV, Community Cafe, Mezzanine, Krytotyt (Kyiv), Fader, People Place (Lviv), 0432 (Vinnytsia), Sympatia (Khmelnytskyi), and Klimat (Lutsk).
The selection crafted for @regulardisco is a journey through many sides of an Italo disco from different eras. Despite the recording is quite experimental for Sam, as disco is not his primary genre — it's perfectly capturing the essence of the label's sound.

Prog Realms excellent takeover is seen off by the boss, Crisco. Opening on a bang with that one Alvar tune, this one's a joyride. It's a mix laced by that edgy contemporary interpretation of deep - minimal progressive trance pioneered by labels like Junction Forest. Atmospheric, weird, relentlessly driven, it's a showcase of the style pushing ‘prog’ forward to its outer, grittier edges. Tip.
