Funky House releases on Spins & Needles, OXO records (Swiss), Dustpan recordings (Singapore), Coyote Cuts (US), Caliber Sounds (NZ) and techno releases on Low Noise Productions. 

Played events across Canada, and in the US, UK, Europe and Asia - including major festivals such as WMC (Miami USA), ADE (Amsterdam NL), and festivals in Berlin, Chicago, San Francisco, and Austin.

Since 2013 - Jason has run the Spins and Needles and Low Noise Productions record labels featuring over 30 artists and several releases. From 2014 with partner Melanie Yugo, Jason co-owns and runs the micro art space and record boutique - Possible Worlds, located in Ottawa Canada. Currently hosting several music residencies in the nation's capital, Jason also regularly plays guest spots at local and international events and continues to produce tracks as J-Skilz and Transmit.

Possible Worlds is an independent platform specializing in graphic art, electronic music and publishing. Based in Ottawa, we present and produce works and programming that amplify the voices of underrepresented, emerging and experimental artists from Canada and internationally.  We operate a physical studio and shop, as well as design community-driven art and music programming at different sites in Ottawa and beyond.

Having honed his craft in DIY venues, as a resident in club spaces, festivals, and community radio, Jay brings a depth of understanding to every performance. Inspired by pioneers like David Mancuso and Larry Levan, he sees music as more than just sound—it's an experience, a connection, and a powerful force that transcends the moment.

As he shifts focus toward releasing bold and original work, his journey remains unpredictable, shaped by instinct rather than expectation. The destination? Only time will tell.

In a recent exciting development, DJ Jo Mineault has joined the esteemed Patchouli Deep Radio team as a Resident DJ, infusing his sets with darker, underground rhythms twice a month.

After a long time away from making music (because of a broken computer) I began producing again in May of 2019 and years before that was in a few Rock and Punk bands that fell through, now I just make House, Hip Hop or whatever comes to mind.
This is just a thing I do for fun.
