Wax Logic is a group of musicians and MC's  in Denton Texas over the summer of 2016; founded by Daniel Forrester, an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and composer who has worked with many groups, most notably Bootsy Collins, Dimitri's Ascent and Cream Cheese Accident SCI Tribute(both from Austin), Congratulations from Denton, and the hometown jamband in Denton: Sol Kitchen. Each and every musician and performer involved is accomplished in their own right as a musician, so when the group gets together, sparks do fly. The group consists of:

Each show is unique, and Wax Logic will feature Special Guests and a rotating cast of even more talented performers, guaranteeing a diversified and entertaining performance. We encourage live improvised collaboration with talented performers whenever we play out of town. We mainly play in Denton and Austin, also hitting festivals outside of Austin like Head for the HIlls and Utopia. Our goal is to create the most authentic blend of jazz and hip that a live band can create, but we do explore other areas of music: Funk, Reggae, Rock, Soul, and Blues; however, Most of our songs are written to a classic 88bpm hip hop drum beat.

Moritz Rausch needs little introduction to those familiar with the Kiel born artist's work. His Rauschhaus moniker is synonymous with a trademark sound that has seen the German feature on a swathe of blue-chip imprints for over a decade. It is therefore no surprise to see over 500 production credits to his name for the likes of Stil vor Talent, Einmusika, Parquet, Beatfreak, Sudbeat or 3000Grad. Due to his massive output and listeners from all around the world, he is now among the top 20 of progressive house producers worldwide. 2023 will mark a milestone in his career, since he is launching his own recordlabel "Forevermore" together with his good friend and production partner Peer Kusiv.

Avati Kaya is a musical project developed by Marcelo Mendes, a Brazilian pianist, dj and songwriter. That project is inspired by electronic music, instrumental hip-hop beats, and also has influences from jazz and Brazilian music.
