Waxploitation Records was founded in 1996.    More recently, the company is better known for developing the careers of Grammy Award winning artists including Danger Mouse, and Gnarls Barkley as well as the Grammy nominated Broken Bells.   Waxploitation developed projects including ROME (with Jack White, Norah Jones, and Danger Mouse). Dangerdoom (with MF DOOM, Danger Mouse, and Adult Swim) and Dark Night of the Soul (with David Lynch, Danger Mouse, and Sparklehorse).   Waxploitation publishes Black Moth Super Rainbow, Pepper Rabbit, Natalia Clavier, The Blind Shake, Gringo Star and more.   Waxploitation Records has most recently released artists including Leo Justi, and La Yegros.
