THELMA PLUM – AROUND HERE

Brisbane based songstress, THELMA PLUM had a massive year in 2012 with her first demo, FATHER SAID being unearthed by Triple J and scoring a J award nomination.  She also recorded her forthcoming debut EP with Tony Buchen (John Butler, Washington) and won a Deadly award for best emerging talent.

Led off with a sunny burst of self-assertion AROUND HERE, the six song EP rewards months of anticipation in the musically muted, lyrically forthright style that's made THELMA PLUM such a compelling new voice.

Anyone lucky enough to witness THELMA PLUM live will have noted the charmingly unspoken chemistry between Thelma and her guitarist Andrew.  Backed by an irreverent sense of humour it is a case in point in the new single “Around Here”.
