“Atlas.B has infinite potential with solid roots in funk and a recognizable sound, in his ability to record, manipulate, and create samples from anywhere in space-time. The initial funk sample he sent me really got my attention and I just knew it had to become a full tune with both our sounds. It felt transcendent in the studio as it came together. An original with a sample from Biggie, so we decided to make this a free download on SoundCloud and Audius for everyone! I’m super happy with the final tune, in having an awesome retro vibe but with a futuristic bass flow. Always crossing the boundaries of space-time. And I’m happy to present the video trailer to go with it! This is leading up to a major game release. It’s looking to be a truly amazing year full of new music and new cities. For this record I first went out to New York to record with some of the daptone records guys to get the main groove Of the tune. Then I had to travel out to Van Nyus to record a children's choir, which was the most nerve racking thing I have done in my entire life! Having a group of 7-11 year olds sing your song is quite the feeling. I then finished up the song with Mike Avery in Chicago. He was one super soulful dude and really captured the golden era funk vibes that I love so much. Overall, this is a song that is a total funk dance party. Enjoy with friends, preferably in a room full of disco balls :)

I created an album by starting with a freestyle piano improvisation. I sat down one night and recorded myself on the keys for 45minutes. While I was listening back, I sampled my favorite part from it that made me cry. I then produced a whole beat around it, which led to this first single. Whenever I play piano it's like my life story on the keys, and I felt that this particular segment was powerful. Hoping this song can inspire, heal, and bring people together. Music for world peace always. I am going through a lot of transformations the last couple of years, which is known to happen when you have your "Saturn Return". Essentially it happens to you every 27-30 years when Saturn is back in the same place in the sky as when you were born. This whole single/album is telling that story.
