For this episode of my Dreamcast Serie I have a wonderful podcast for you, I feel delighted to welcome a very special guest: Darren Gibbs 🙏🏻❤️

Some words of my lovely friend: I got into DJ’ing at the age of 8, playing 7inch singles at my school disco every Friday Night. Through the 80s, I started experimenting with mixing, creating short mixtapes, and blending tapes with vinyl and back again. As the years rolled on, I evolved with the technology—vinyl, CDs, and now digital—constantly building my library across House, Deep House, Liquid Drum & Bass, and Chill.

In 2011, I launched my mix series “Mixed Under The Influence”, a project that has remained the heart and soul of my sound. More recently, I’ve been diving into the tracks that first pulled me into the Organic House scene with my “Old is Gold” series—now up to volume 6.

Fast forward 40 years, and my passion for music is stronger than ever. I’m proud to hold residencies on two digital radio stations, constantly pushing my sound and sharing my journey.

I feel honoured to be part of the Dreamcast Series and hope you enjoy the mix.

Drawing inspiration from the diverse sounds of different cultures, SHRI captures the essence of his experiences in each unique melody, consistently enchanting the hearts of his listeners.
His journey led him to explore House music and its subgenres, including Progressive House and Organic House.

A classically trained pianist with a background in physics, Kotiēr’s journey from Boston to Berlin has fueled a unique sonic perspective—one that’s already earned support from artists like &Me, CamelPhat, Solomun, and Adriatique, who gave Libēratē an early spin in Egypt and garnered a hoard of "ID?" requests.

“I made this track in Berlin last summer,” Kotiēr shares. “It started with those wobbly chords, and once they were down, everything came together fast. A little hypnotic, but built for the dance floor.” Anchored by a vocal that pleads “heal me, save me, set me free,” Libēratē is a high-energy release that pairs emotional depth with peak-time impact.
