In the club scene, he notably made his live debut at the legendary Tresor in Berlin, following years of honing his craft through DJ sets. Marco's music transcends strict genre boundaries, crafting unique soundscapes through various Electronic Music styles, distinguished by their emotive depth and versatility. His discography includes landmark releases on Helena Hauff's Return To Disorder, James Ruskin's Blueprint, and Ben Sims' esteemed labels Symbolism, Hardgroove, and Machine - a collaborative venture by Ben Sims & Kirk Degiorgio where he stands shoulder to shoulder with titans like Luke Slater, Robert Hood, Function, Oscar Mulero, and Steffi. His work also appears on Sunil Sharpe's Earwiggle, Truncate's label, Avoidant (Soma's Electro sub-label), Jazz O Tech, and Tape Tales, among others. Driven by relentless exploration, Marco launched his own label, "Evighet." This label is more than a music platform; it's an anthropological narrative exploring the evolution of human identity/personality over time. With Evighet, Marco intersects his discography with artists of the calibre of The Fear Ratio and articulates his vision of electronic music within an infinite temporal space. His label represents a bold expansion of Marco's storytelling and offers a profound and timeless interpretation of sound and self.

NTS ~ GiGi FM B2B Altinbas At Stone Techno Festival 2024

This one’s a firm nod to London and its unique cultural genome. Tasha got her start in drum and bass, with early support from DJ Flight and Storm, regular slots at Renegade Hardware, and a side shift at central London’s now defunct record store BM Soho. That, and her own party-going forays threw a growing fixation with techno into the mix and it’s here at the crossroads of these two influences that Tasha started to find her voice. For four years starting 2009, and now again on a monthly basis since 2018, she’s held down a residency on Rinse FM, and the distinctly homespun feel of the outlet has left a permanent mark on her sound, one that’s intimately tied to both community and the station’s roots as a fledgling pirate station way back when. Equally formative was Shoreditch venue Plastic People, where she took charge of event programming alongside Sigha, a role she followed with the starting of her own solo venture titled ’Neighbourhood’ - a bringing together of artists in her orbit among which figure names like Pangaea, Pariah, Ben Sims, Zenker Brothers and Stenny. It now calls FOLD home, but the name, and you’d be hard pressed to find a better one, has stuck. It also stuck to the label that project spawned in 2016 and all the subsequent releases that kept that vision going. Tasha’s art, like the life it inhabits, is in constant movement. Brisk basslines with a heavy debt to London’s wealth of musical styles, openness of spirit and DIY fervour. Bassiani Podcast 232 is a banger, 70 minutes of contagious rhythmic momentum; kinetic techno with a UK twist and a point of inflection that’s firmly rooted in the city she calls home. Welcome to the neighbourhood.

Haumea came armed to the teeth, and with mindful precision layed out a cunning piece of storytelling. As we emerge from a fog cloaked forest, a distant howling lingers on, commencing the hunt. Pressing on, the echoes of ancient burial rites dissipate over a desolate plane. Ever increasing vibrations coalesce into an ambient flood, bending reality as the aural field entangles earth and sky. Directions change, as our surroundings integrate. Razor sharp blades materialize from the void, mutating into rotating rhythms while they cut circles in the air. Following this cadence we change course, entering a world where dynamic kicks and spiralling percussions dominate. At times the glinting reflections of auquatic droplets illuminate our path, before the occasional disruption by cyber-transmissions causes another shift in direction. The end becomes a new beginning, where different routes lead us to the same destination. With this selection of  constantly driving and yet mind-warping assembly of tracks Haumea, the second guest on our mix series, shows his unique quality of moulding different elements together into new forms of life.

You know our love for Georgia’s seemingly infinite pool of talented musicians, and here’s another emerging one many of you may not know of yet, but should definitely keep an eye (and ear) on: Boya. Up with a shape-shifting electronic and techno set, the Tbilisi-based DJ and Morevi Records affiliate flaunts the breadth of his talent through a versatile selection and impeccable mixing maneuvers. The result is a two-hour jaunt into the more techno-friendly side of his very own multiverse. From springy uptempo rides to detours into more nuanced, dubbed-out sonics, through genre-unbound meanderings and muscular house flexions, the wide scope of Boya’s mix keeps beckoning us towards the unknown with every bar. Expect the unexpected.

Championing a dancefloor sound as ebulliently driving as it invites us to dip our toes into further hazy sonic grounds, Dutch producer, Rhiza Semar founder and Eerste Communie resident Hitam swings the pendulum betwixt racing 909-fuelled horsepower and more subdued, fearsome climates.

By combining organic and artificial sound sources with ancient and modern approaches to patterns and structure, he sees his productions as a means to reconnect the past and present; guiding the listener through aural fields that are both familiar and unknown.
As ever clinical in his approach and deadly in his execution, Hitam has us tripping out to relentless tech rage and hypnotic sound design laced into one smoldering hodgepodge of whelming, non-stop gusty sonics.

The dynamic and ethereal characteristics of his sound invoke a state of contemplation and receptiveness, by means of which one is invited to form a deeper connection within and between. Mind and body; self and other.
