The Butchers were formed in Brattleboro, VT in the fall of 2014, started off as a collaboration between two groups of songwriters, James Ford and Christian Cardiello (The Blind Owl Band) and Bobby & Walker DiTrani (DiTrani Brothers). Throughout the rest of the year they honed in their sound by playing shows in VT, NY, MA, CT, and MD, and after finding their fifth member, Jacob Stern (Crunchy Western Boys) on fiddle, their sound was completed. The Butchers found their name through the tradition of American travelers, collecting the remnants of the past in places which hold ties to the history and the story of our country. The meat of their music is based around old tales of war, depression, love, death, incarceration, murder, strength, humility, and vengeance. Their music is a raw portrayal of American folklife, building energy through gritty teeth and smokey harmonies. They draw their inspiration from the music, land, and people around them, constantly advocating for a life of richer meaning and deeper intent, and the Butchers will always strive for a raw exchange of life and energy with their crowd.

“A hypnotic, bubbling, swirling mass of exuberant folk-pop,” (Tom Johnson, goldflakepaint) Holy Sheboygan! are a group of classically-trained musicians that have been playing on stages, street corners and in studios since 2013. Their seven years together have resulted in radio appearances, studio albums and a sojourn back to their conservatory roots, performing their original arrangements for a production of Benjamin Britten’s “The Beggar’s Opera.” Holy Sheboygan! have released four albums of original songs, with music ranging from candid and haunting to cacophonous and haunted. Their latest release, a song-cycle inspired by the life and work of an unknown artist named Phil Kalinowski, finds Holy Sheboygan at their most experimental and engaging, in an electrifying model of art and artist.

Born out of the Allentown neighborhood in Buffalo, NY, Josh, Allen and Ben blended their original Folk, Indie and Americana compositions to form The Observers. With the addition of Matt, Jeannine and Tyler they have established their unique sound. The Observers take you on a journey of human experience.
