More free 80s goodness brought up to date for you - this time I’ve taken a track by the Whispers called Imagination and applied the Funkier treatment. Title track of their 10th album, it's an absolute banger that's been a weapon in my crate for years and felt ripe for a bit of beefing up. It’s already a great tune that exudes early 80s boogie funk niceness so I haven’t done loads to it, just the usual crisping up of percussion and making it throb along nicely.  It was an absolute pleasure to be invited to play at the 20th Anniversary of Shambhala Music Festival in the amazing Fractal Forest this year. Big thanks to Rich Rich and the rest of the Fractal team for putting on the best show on earth and welcoming me into the family with open arms. The set I played was by far the best time I’ve ever had on stage and feel incredibly lucky to have shared that moment with all the amazing people at Shambhala.

I wasn't originally intending on releasing this mix, because I'm an insane perfectionist. I put together my favourite parts from this set and created a mix for Pretty Lights The Hot Sh!T with the intention that I would only be releasing one major mix this fall. But recently I've had an overwhelming amount of requests to release this Shambhala 2017 set, and so, I listened. Featuring Sam Klassik on guitar, I present my Shambhala 2017 Fractal Forest Mix.
