Shannon Allen is a rock and roll singer, songwriter, SAG-AFTRA and AEA actress living in New York City. Her raspy, soulful voice is the combination of a little Joan Jett, a little Joss Stone, and a little bit of Grace Potter, mixed with attitude of Lady Gaga. 

Originally from Cleveland, Shannon left Ohio to attend the Berklee College of Music where she truly found her home writing, singing, performing and recording blues, rock, and R&B. She performed in venues all over Boston such as Cafe 939 Red Room, Cask'n'Flagon and The Good Life. 

After moving to New York City in June 2012, Shannon made it to the top 180 singers for The Voice season 4, just missing the cut for blind auditions. She was also briefly in the Off-Broadway show, Totally Tubular Time Machine at The Culture Club. She has performed at venues such as Bowery Electric Map Room, Kenny's Castaways, Bestbar NYC, and Club Groove. 

Shannon is currently in production with her EP, "Lion Heart," as a follow up to her first album, "Crazy," released in January 2012. She can be seen all over Manhattan, singing her original tunes, auditioning for shows, and looking for new performance opportunities. 

Shannon appeared on Season XIV of American Idol and received the coveted golden ticket to Hollywood. She was released in Hollywood week in the top 200 singers.
