Rude Buster has this unusual thing where it's ever-so-slightly off pitch from the key of F# minor, so it made arranging this a pain in the butt! Thanks Toby!! For this arrangement I used the N163 chip to complement the arrange with a grittier bass to give it more oomph. Hope you enjoy it!

This is an arrange/remaster of Fury Volcano 1, my favourite song from Super Princess Peach
I really liked the feeling of the original, i wanted to see what it would sound like if it had newer instruments, but i also wanted to make some slight changes to make it feel more "modern", for example i made the bass pattern a bit more funky, this was very inspired by Jake Kaufman's work on Ducktales Remastered

I didn't feel like making a big MIDI animation for this...
I mean, it's the audio that's important, and i just didn't feel like working with annoying video editing programs right now, i'm honestly having a very tough period IRL, and i'm doing my best to cope with this, extra stress from "getting a video right" is unnecessary, i am a music composer, not a video editor...

Arrange/Remaster: Fury Volcano 1 - Super Princess Peach

Toad Town was always a very cozy place. It's fun to talk to all the different residents and get glimpses into their lives throughout your journey.

I haven't made a straight-up Paper Mario cover in a long time, so I thought it would be cool to return to form, so to speak. I reworked the percussion a little bit to be a better fit for NES sound, as the agogo-style percussion of the original wouldn't have translated as well. I still tried to make it fit the spirit of the original.

It also has a lot of arps, as you may have noticed. I'm generally not a fan of very arp-heavy arrangements, but I wanted the original chords to be represented. If I do another Paper Mario cover in the future, I'll try to pick a song that doesn't rely on chords as much.

Samurai Sans - Megalovania Cover

Amazingly, this tune uses only instruments in the Rhythm Heaven soundfont. I wanted the chord progressions to be a bit more unique and satisfying in this one. I'll leave it up to you to decide whether or not I succeeded.

I can never really find a way to progress the chord back to the original after going nuts... it's SOOOO HAAAARD.
