Bleierne Schwere 

Der Tag zieht an mir vorbei wie ein Film. Die Momente, Minuten und Stunden fliegen an mir vorüber und ich nehme meine Umwelt wie durch einen Filter wahr. Die heutigen Ereignisse, Begegnungen und Gespräche erscheinen retrospektiv surreal. Die Erinnerungen daran sind verschwommen, die bleierne Schwere in mir hingegen omnipräsent. Jegliche Handlung benötigt ein ungewöhnliches hohes Maß an Willenskraft und will umgehend mit Entspannung vergolten werden. Mein Terminplan ist wie ein Spiegelbild meines derzeitigen Zustandes. Ein bisschen was geschafft und sehr viel mehr aufgeschoben. 
Entgegen aller Widerstände raffe ich mich auf. Wenn die Pflicht ruft, hat man einfach keine Wahl. Wie heißt es so schön, wer feiert, kann auch arbeiten. 

Der Züricher DJ Naïmaste hat diesen KataHaifisch Podcast für uns zusammengestellt und aufgenommen. Er beschreibt sich selbst als musikalischen Geschichtenerzähler. Vorzüglich mixt er Musik aus den Genres Downtempo,  Melodic-, Groove- und Deep House. Naïmaste schöpft für dieses Set aus der unendlichen Vielfalt der Musik. Gelassen und in aller Seelenruhe kombiniert er belebende Rhythmen und ästhetische Melodien. Die angenehmen Vocals verleihen der Komposition den letzten Schliff. 
Dieses Set lässt sich in keine Schublade stecken. Es lebt von seiner bunten und ausgelassen Vielfalt. Hier ist für jeden Musikliebhaber etwas dabei.

The sun is burning on the asphalt and we are racing through space and time at 105 kilometers an hour. A pleasant 4/4 beat runs out of the boxes, which creates a mellow vibration in the air. Two raccoons sit on the back seat, completely absorbed in turning buttons, which are responsible for seamless transitions. 

After a while, probably only a few seconds, we got completely lost in the sound. Where is the front and where is the back? And what track is actually playing right now?

A big thank you goes out to @tobertober-1 for this great journey with a first-class selection and arrangement of tracks! We hope you enjoy this ride as much as we do.

Was eine Stimmung, was für schöne Menschen, so ein schöner Floor, danke - der Augenblick war perfekt. 

Aber auch, oder vorallem während, solchen Ekstasen sollten wir uns bewusst werden, was für ein Privileg wir haben in solch schöne,freie Räume entfliehen zu können.

Menschen sterben täglich an den europäischen Außengrenzen, Obdachlose erfrieren mitten in '' hochentwickelten '' Industrienationen, alternativer Kultur und Clubs droht ein Massensterben, von den noch kommenden Problemen des Ökosystems ganz zu schweigen. All diese Probleme und Schicksäler sind natürlich nich auf einmal zu bewältigen und schon gar nicht alleine, aber jede Person kann sich überlegen wo sie steht und in welcher Form Unterstützung möglich ist. Immateriell, materiell, politisch, musikalisch sellisch usw. Vieles ist möglich und vieles ist nötig.

Solitary deserts, transcendent mosaics & Persian rose-scented gardens are some of the vivid images by Nebu Mitte invokes. A contemporary nomad who shares his time between Madrid, Berlin and Ibiza. A musical magic carpet capable of transporting us to mythical faraway lands.

In Madrid, he is currently one of the most active DJ's in the electronic scene, he has been part of some of the best projects nationwide, and he has gone through the best clubs and parties, being a resident DJ of some of the most important.

In 2012 he moved to Berlin, where in a short time he made a slot in the electronic scene, and start to play in some of the most popular clubs; Goldengate, Arena, Brunen70, Katerholzing, Ritter Butzke, Birgit & Bier, and the famous Berlin Fashion Week 2013.
Since 2009 we can see every summer at different parties on Ibiza. Some of its most outstanding DJ residences would be; L'Elephant in 2012, Bora Bora, or Lips Beach Club in 2013, Privilege in 2015, and Sunset Ashram every year.

In January 2017 he became the first Spanish DJ to perform in Ethiopia as the headliner for the Mosaic festival in Addis Ababa.

Some times the music just magically comes out, and that is the case here with "Syria" by new Sol*Selectas artist Unders from Amsterdam. After several successful tunes above the 120 BPM mark on labels like Sincopat and Groove On, "Syria" was Unders' first attempt at slower grooves, and an accidental experiment that just "fell into place, and was automatic magic". Syria's current political unrest is all over the news and social media, and the story being painted is difficult to watch. Driven to create a song which goes against all the negative publicity, Unders says "between all the negativity, the more i looked into the situation, the country, its people and its culture, the more this track reminded me of so much beauty the media doesn’t portray." The song itself a slow minimal trip with chopped up guitar licks, a gorgeous flute sample that takes the listener to far off desert lands, and features the vocals of Veerle.  Satori is yet another up and coming producer from the Netherlands, gaining instant recognition sharing the stage and studio with Acid Pauli, and producing incredible tunes utilizing live instruments played by himself, and tastefully incorporating these with electronic elements. His remix preserves the original message of "Syria" lowering the BPM to an even more hypnotic 104 BPMs. Satori adds middle eastern strings and chords, swapping out the original vocal for a more Saharan inspired call, and even plays delicately with some acid sounds furthering the listeners journey.  
Both songs are meant to invoke peaceful images of Syria, and conjure up positive intention on the dance floor. Sol*Selectas is very excited to present the debut song "Syria" from Unders, and the amazing remix by Satori,  two artists from the Netherlands you would do well to keep your eyes and ears open to in 2016.
