Chicago was amazing this past weekend. From playing at the ARC Festival to opening ARC After Dark for DRUMCODE,  couldn't be more grateful and appreciative. Was amazing to play along side Avision, Layton Giordani and Nicole Moudaber. All played amazing and it was a perfect Drumcode Chicago night. Thank you Drumcode and Auris Presents for having me! And all at Concord Music Hall! Turn it up and LFG!

Rave The Planet strikes again with another powerful sampler featuring artists who actively support the project. This time the three tracks come from Mark Dekoda, Klanglos and Robert Babicz.

Rave The Planet is a non-profit organisation based in Berlin, dedicated to the art and culture of electronic music. Their main aims are to protect techno culture as an UNESCO Intangible Heritage and to bring back the spirit of the Berlin Love Parade with a new 'big techno parade' in 2022.

The 7th EP in the Supporter Series starts with a bang thanks to Mark Dekoda and his fast, rolling and progressive "Hybrid" tune. Mark has also previously released on Scythe Recordings plus Hungry Koala.

Second on the EP is "A New World", which is another explosive track by Error Records label boss Klanglos, who delivers a pulsating masterpiece with timeless sound design and new school production overlaid with a dystopian vocal sample. You might feel familiar with after it was featured on TikTok in the Rave The Planet Fundraising trailer, which has been viewed over 18 million times!

Closing out the EP is a climactic track by Robert Babicz who's a techno veteran and story telling producer and needs little introduction following his releases on labels ranging from Bedrock to his own imprint Babicz style. His track "Drive Inn" has acidic tones and stabbing melodic chords layered over crisp percussion to create a groove perfect for bouncing between the walls of a warehouse rave.

As ever, all proceeds from Supporter Series sales go directly into Rave The Planet's non-profit projects.

Rave The Planet is excited to present the 8th Supporter Series sampler EP with individual tracks by Christian Smith, Paula Cazenave and Juliet Fox.

Rave The Planet is a non-profit organisation based in Berlin, dedicated to the art and culture of electronic music. Their main aims are to protect techno culture as an UNESCO Intangible Heritage and to bring back the spirit of the Berlin Love Parade with a new 'big techno parade' in 2022.

The 8th instalment opens with a techno masterpiece from the man himself: Christian Smith, founder of Tronic Records, and an artist who has featured his own music on other labels ranging from Drumcode to Cocoon. "Filter Force" is a classic DJ weapon with a stripped back, hypnotic groove that's perfect for peak time moments on the dance floor.

Juliet Fox has featured on some of techno's most prestigious labels including Filth On Acid, Kraftek, Octopus, Drumcode and her own TREGAMBE. Paying homage to the Berlin Love Parade, the dark and acidic track "It Began In 1989" features vocals about the history and vibe of the world-famous event.

Last on the EP is "Parade On Acid" by Spain's Paula Cazenave, who is the label boss of Combine Audio and a talented producer also releasing on the likes of Marco Faraone's UNCAGE. Her track incorporates the unmistakable sound of a 303, combined with a heavy kick and fizzing percussion to create a hard-hitting groove.

As ever, all proceeds from Supporter Series sales go directly into Rave The Planet's non-profit projects.

Mark Reeve makes his welcome return to the Drumcode fold with a powerful three-tracker ‘Far Away’.

In recent years Mark Reeve has become a pivotal member of the Drumcode crew. His 2015 EP ‘Run Back’ was a standout, before he backed it up strongly with ‘Nine of You’, his collaboration with Adam Beyer that featured on A-Sides Vol.5, ensuring his place in the hearts of DC fans. As further evidence of his importance to the collective, Beyer has selected him to suit up for the inaugural Drumcode Festival happening this August in association with Awakenings. 

Harking back to formative times in the ‘90s when he’d frequent Sven Väth’s legendary Omen in Frankfurt, the title track to Reeve’s ‘Far Away’ is a timeless beauty, driven by a celestial melody line and emotive bass notes that lobs it into the kind of laser-kissed territory that would make even the most jaded of raves throw their arms skyward. ‘Fragile’ follows, a classy bass-driven cut that makes its mark with deep subterranean stabs and punchy kicks. Rounding out the EP is ‘Redemption’ a tougher, heads-down techno workout imbued with plenty of energy thanks to a crafty bass melody that runs throughout.

Just over a year after the inaugural release of Reinier Zonneveld's Filth on Acid, it's with great pleasure to announce a EP with some of Zonneveld's favourite producers, with a collaboration between the label honcho and fellow Dutchman and top producer Bart Skils, while having producing duo 'Pig&Dan' on remix duties. With the original mix of 'Snakecharmer' containing a mesmerizing melodic line surrounded by thriving drums, the track is sure to bring the listener in a hypnotic ecstasy; it looks like Pig&Dan took parts of the hypnotic elements and sliced them through their magical Pig&Dan creative production process creating a peaktime techno signature remix that is mind blowing and for sure will eat up dancefloors. Enjoy.. This is Filth on Acid - illuminate you now!
