I compose experimental music that generally gets described as sound collage, soundscapes, or sound journey.  

I love collaborating for dance, film, or other projects.  Please contact me if you have ideas. 

My music is meant to take you on a journey through different places, feelings, and experiences. My compositions are generally longer than conventional popular music and are best enjoyed with lights out and eyes closed. My sounds are sourced from field recordings that I create or that are found online (primarily freesound.org), computer noises, and my instrumental recordings.  I find my interest in composition not in how I can create new sounds, but in how I can access the enormous collection of sounds available to create sonic journeys.

Hi Lo Ha is an indie rock band formed by Ben Reisdorph (lead vocals, guitar) and Brian Davis (vocals,bass). Named after the Woodstock-area home where Bob Dylan wrote the folk-rock Americana classic Highway 61 Revisited, Hi Lo Ha has a reverence for the past drawing inspiration from bands like The Rolling Stones and The Band along with contemporary bands like Built to Spill, Wilco, and Pavement.

We seek to be on a Japanese record label with good taste in design and then retire to a fortress inaccessible to all mortals.
